Majestic Palace

Very nice hotel but due to the location one part at a higher level which involved 2 lifts and a walkway. The soft furnishings in our room were very 1990's but all looked very new, so that is obviously the style they want. For instance, no scuff marks on the wall, carpet perfect so I'm even wondering whether it had recently been refurbished in that dated style. Large bathroom, very large room with sofa bed and balcony, we were in the upper part of the hotel so lovely views. We had dinner out, but breakfast was a large buffet. Nice swimming pools on both levels. Very clean.

Nothing except perhaps the distance between the two parts of the hotel which meant our group was quite divided, some at bottom level, some at top. We were 6 adults and 2 children. They were unable to accommodate us in rooms close to each other, so we had upgraded rooms in the top level.

Perfect for family of all ages.. small journey to the centre and silent at night. Lots of pool options and outdoor activities. the kids club was amazing for our one and 7 year old, we had to drag them away. Beautiful room (we had a junior garden suite) and everything was so clean. Housekeeping made swans every day for the kids beds which they loved.

Food was a big let down for us, lots of buffet options at breakfast but it was the same every day with only a small selection of hot food. It was fine, we wall had a little something to start the day but nothing to get excited about. We chose to dine in one evening and wished we hadn’t, it was buffet style again and I feel like it was overbooked so getting food for the kids first was mayhem.. we were literally being pushed out of the way in the queues, the food quality wasn’t amazing, we settled with simple pasta dishes and the kids enjoyed dessert before we retreated to our room. We ate for the same price at the next night at the grill (3courses with wine) and it was delicious.

Food was great, room was nice and cool, staff where super kind and helpfull and everything was as advertised or better (except for the internet)

Barely any internet connectivity in our room. The staff told us we should have said something sooner (we told them on our last day) as they could have added a repeater to increase the signal. So again really helpfull in trying to resolve the issue.

The views from the hotel are fantastic, and it's such a great place to stay if you have kids as there's quite a bit to do.

The only disappointing thing that we experienced, which is quite petty on our behalf, if I do say so myself. It was the day of the wedding and everyone had been out all day, we returned to the hotel (at approximately midnight) hoping to all get one last round of drinks before bed, but the bar staff were adamant that they had called last orders and were shutting the bar, so not everyone was able to get a drink. It would have been nice to get one last drink to finish the night off with the whole wedding party, but oh well that's the British for you.

What a brilliant option for young families. So much on for kids, yet if you want adult time, there is plenty on too. Lots of options for chilling, swimming or entertainment. Brilliant buffet and kids under 3 eat free. Sensational. Staff always had a smile on their face, no matter when you bumped into them. Also, some great restaurants local to hotel, that you do not need to walk back into town for. Give them a go.

the hotel is great for children, and Adults alike . I would not recommend adults staying if they do not like children or dogs! the hotel is spacious, hard working staff. really clean, great food and the staff are amazing.

I did not like the part of the hotel I was staying in, In comparison to the part my son and daughters stayed in . for the same rate.

Very good facilities room, pools, common areas etc. Staff were extremely professional and helpful. Food was good. Lovely views from the property and plenty of different areas with umbrellas and sun loungers.

Music in some of the common areas was a little loud. The shuttle bus service is only available in the morning and as the hotel is approximately 1.6km from the town it would be nice if the service was available into the evening/night.

This hotel is amazing!! it was our second time here and just as perfect. All the staff are lovely and everything is always spotlessly clean. The pool is great and the shuttle bus was perfect to get to town every day. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Lake Garda and for me it is easily the best in Malcesine. Fantastic!!!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

lovely comfy beds, good bathrooms. Breakfast was fab, the pool was a welcome break though nothing like the pictures. Staff were completely wonderful and very helpful. Only slight negative I can give is the distance for centre of Malcesine. 20mins walk uphill was not for us, but fine if you’re active people!

It is a really a resort where you can rest yourself, it has all the facilities (pools, restaurant, quiet place, great view, etc). The breakfast was good, enough food for everyone, fruits, tea, coffee, etc. so we were happy with this. The room was huge, with a large terrace with lake view.

It will be good to see on booking.com for each type of room where is located (main hotel or in annexe building) and also to see what view has that room, for no further surprises.
