Great location and spacious. Fantastic views. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast . Everything was spotlessly clean . Very comfortable and FANTASTIC value for money

Nothing . It’s a little bit dated in parts but that was not a major issue at all

Breakfast was good and of continental type. The location was excellent and there was an olive grove by the hotel. It was easy to walk to the lakeside by walking downhill, across the lake road and down to a walkway by the lake (takes about 8 minutes) and then there was a very pleasant walk by the lake into the centre of Malcesine. The hotel is a little old fashioned, but it was great to have a spacious bedroom, which also had a large seating area and armchairs. The balcony was a good size and the views from it were lovely. My partner is a coeliac and the gluten free provision was limited, which presented a few problems for her.

Much nicer than expected! We had a lake view room which was lovely, with fridge, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, comfy bed. There’s a steep walk up to the hotel from the main road, or narrow road if driving. There are 3 tennis courts but these are set back from the hotel further up the lane by about 200 yds, free racquet/balls from reception. Please note that google maps indicates 2 hotels with the same name, but there is only 1. Breakfast was good, same table every day. Staff very friendly, but they don’t speak much English. Pool was nice, with a jacuzzi and sun beds/chairs. The walk into Malcesine takes about 15/20 minutes, there is a path off the main road a short way down from the hotel, where you can walk by the lake. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again if we were visiting Malcesine.

We stayed for 4 days, and had no replacement toiletries. Plus the body lotion was half used. Lucky we had some with us. Wi-Fi was weak, but working.

Great hotel which far exceeded the expectations from published pictures. Staff were friendly, view from balcony was great - don't expect waterside views, this hotel is set back but lake view rooms do give a good view of the lake over to the far shore. The hotel was spotless. Plenty of parking available although access to the hotel by vehicle could be a little daunting if you are not familiar with tiny Italian roads.... Not dangerous, just very narrow with blind corners, just for a few 10's of metres. Would definitely book here again. The lakeside main road is busy but we did not get disturbed by it at all, despite being on that side of the hotel... it is well separated by other buildings and the hill. Easy walk into Malcesine town for sight-seeing and restaurants.

Was really impressed with the hotel after some of the reviews complained at it looking tired. While it's certainly not ultra modern, it's very clean and comfortable, and the beds and bathroom in our room were great. Breakfast was good too. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Malcesine, but it's easy to take a 5 minute walk to the lakeside and then enjoy a scenic walk to the centre. We really enjoyed out stay.

The pool was small and not heated as implied.

Good location to the centre of Malcesine. A bit of hike up a small hill, but not bad compared to others. Quiet very efficiently run property. The owners don’t really get involved with guests but that’s not such a bad thing as they don’t really need to.

There’s a really nice bar and seating area which gets little or no use. With the right management I believe they could do something really useful with it. I never once saw anyone sitting in the bar area. Maybe some light entertainment at night or similar.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. So when we asked for a kettle and later for an extra blanket, that was no problem at all. The hotel is just a short walk away from the lake and in about 15 minutes you can reach the beautiful town centre.

The hotel is not bad but has certainly seen better days. Everything is a bit old-fashioned but if you are okay with it, you can enjoy your stay.

The hotel seems farther away but is actually only a 10 walk from the centre , as it's up on a hill, the view from the outside bar area and pool was spectacular, the room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast had a good selection, the staff were lovely and friendly, good pool area, if you are arriving by bus, I would recommend getting a taxi on arrival with baggage but otherwise the walk is very easy , I would stay here again

The beautiful views of Lake Garda from the bedroom balcony and the bar terrace. Again the breakfast buffet was a delicious spread with plenty of dish variations. This is an exceptional hotel, one of the best I have stayed at in recent years. The elderly couple who run the hotel are lovely people who do everything to make their guests feel welcome and at home.

Can't think of anything bad to say.

First of all the hotel was in a good location about 1km from the town. it was really clean with maid service daily. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall the hotel was quiet and calm. Great pool area. It was also very good value for money.

The property could do with modernising overall. Its tired and old fashioned (however you get what you pay for and as previously said it’s really good value for money). Also breakfast needs more choice especially with fresh fruit, etc.
