The location of the facility is one of the best possible, just outside the city walls but still in a more modern building than you would get inside. Breakfast is good, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Clean room although a bit on the small side.

My highest concern is with safety and both rooms we booked were with a very high and not marked step just after entering the bathroom. I almost fell down the first time I used the bathroom. If the step is unavoidable, it should be marked and also have a sign in the entrance.

Attractive frontage. Great location within walking distance of the city centre. Plenty of on-site parking, which the management said we were welcome to use even after we had checked out, if we wished to sight-see in Lucca. Extremely efficient and courteous staff. I asked for an iron and it was delivered immediately, together with an ironing board. They kindly made a restaurant reservation for us, and their choice was great. Lovely drink in the bar to end the day - an extremely generous Aperol. Comfortable bed and very good buffet breakfast the next morning. Can’t fault this hotel in any way and would certainly make it our first choice when staying again in Lucca.

Might try and afford a bigger room next time although the double we had was fine.

Our flight cancelled and they were able to supply rooms at very last minute. Arrived at 2.30am to be met with a very helpful member of staff who spoke excellent English. His help was perfect. Behind a fairly non descript frontage lays a perfect clean and amrt hotel. Not too big and not too small. Plenty of sitting around room, a terrace and rooms are well supplied (except no milk which surprised me as it is advertised as international) Otherwise all there, including slippers. Breakfast in the price and a good continental breakfast spread was laid out for those who wok in time (7am -10am) We had late check out, bags were stred for us while we wandered Lucca for the afternoon. They even ordered us a mini bus. Nothing was too much to ask it appears. Would happily stay again. Not cheap, but they supplied all and more than you would expect. Oh and the sheets on the bed were very very nice indeed.

No milk for my morning coffee in the room. And the lift that sunk a bit as you got in it.

This hotel is ideally located for easy access to Lucca itself as it is only a short walk to a couple of the city gates. The hotel is clean and the staff efficient and helpful and the breakfast plentiful and wide ranging. There is a reasonably sized hotel car park and the railway station is close by too, giving added flexibility for places to visit without using a car. The main road round the city runs past the hotel but personally I didn't find the noise intrusive.

My room looked a bit dated but that is being picky and don't expect stunning views out of the window

We knew this hotel was outside the walls of Lucca (we had a car and didn't want to risk staying inside the wall and driving through a ZTL) but were pleasantly surprised at how close it was to the wall itself, not much of a walk at all. Our first room was fine though a bit small, but they upgraded us to a larger room when it became available. The front desk staff were helpful throughout our stay, especially when we had a toll-road problem.

I would have liked eggs at breakfast even if they were only hard-boiled.

The location is close to the city center (approx. 10 minutes on foot) and approx. 1 hour by car to Pisa or La Spezia (from where you start to Cinque Terre). It is also very close to the train station (for those who don't have a car or don't want to use it). The location is very neat, the staff is very kind and free parking is offered. If I have the opportunity to come to the area again, I will come back here with great pleasure! Until then, I recommend them with pleasure!

The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. There was a great selection at breakfast. The location is ideal. This was a return visit - we stayed here in 2014 and the hotel is just as good now as it was then.

The room could have been a little larger. The toilet paper was very thin. The great croissants at breakfast ran out too quickly. These are just minor quibbles and they didn't spoil our very pleasant stay.

- central location just outside the city walls, walking distance to city center (and easy to access by car) - very friendly and helpful staff (also for recommendations, sightseeing and other activities) - well equipped, large and modern room - very good parking options right at the hotel - breakfast was diverse and tasty, nice room where it was served (with measures to keep distance between guests), all waitresses were wearing masks all the time - rooms have very good windows and walls, absorbing the noise from the street in front of the hotel (lots of traffic there, but quiet inside the room) - restaurant and bar directly next to the hotel (do not belong to the hotel though), very good option to eat fish (restaurant) or enjoy some drinks (bar)

Very nice place, well decorated, very clean. Staff very welcoming. Quick check-in and check-out. We didn't use them but the hotel will land you a bicycle! Location is awesome, very close the the city center (and the train station). Free wifi, free parking. Dogs are welcome no additional fees.

Been there in December and i understand it's cold outside but there is WAY too much heat in the bedroom during the night and it's not possible to tweak it to less. The bedroom is small and in the middle of the night it was like Summer heat!!!

It was easy to find and park a this hotel. A warm welcome at reception, smart hotel, a small but very nice room, quiet. Possibly the cleanest, sparkliest hotel we have stayed in and we travel a lot. Great team, friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts ever. Excellent.

The room is small but otherwise perfect. Quiet location, very clean and comfortable.
