8room Hotel

This is a small hotel as the name suggests, not like traditional hotels. Hence, the stay for me was more like staying at a friend's place. It is a different experience, a nice one. Compared to other hotels in the region, this hotel is new. My room was big and comfortable. The balcony was very nice to have breakfast and feel the district in the evening. I don't know if the breakfast is always served to your room in this hotel, but during my stay that was the case. I found it a bit unconventional first, but later enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious, with sweet pastry from the region. Staff is also very friendly, very authentic. It is 10 minutes walking distance to some popular spots with a lot of restaurants. I also liked the Bar at the corner (Trento Bar).

For business travellers, this might be a bit of a different experience. The hotel is a small one and does not have a big lobby etc. to work.

Giovvanna and Giuseppe are very friendly, helpful and willing to help the guests every time of the day, the rooms were spacious and cleaned every day, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel was about 10 minutes walking distance to the center, so it was easy to get there by foot. We had great stay at 8room hotel and we strongly recommend it!!!

The hotel was great. Modern, clean, well kept. The room was exactly like in the pictures, on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. We got directions towards our points of interest, they made us great coffee every opportunity they got. One of the shower heads broke one morning, they instantly scheduled a repair time, and by the time we got back to the hotel in the afternoon, it was fixed. No comments, or questions asked. They offered to make us a taxi reservation as we were leaving early in the morning, 1 hour later we got our confirmation, the exact price for the ride, and the phone number of the driver. We would definitely recommend it

While this was NOT a negative aspect for us, it is worth mentioning that the breakfast is tipically italian. It consists of a variety of sweet croissants, toast, jam, honey, a couple of slices of ham and cheese. I am only mentioning this so people expecting tables upon tables of varieties of food would not be surprised. We enjoyed it nonetheless

everything was great. the only thing i expected more was breakfast variety as it was very limited. Other than that great experience and will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Very nice central location on a small street, which was nevertheless quite busy. Breakfast was Italian style which suited me and I did not try to order anything ele. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and helped me for example when I had a small accident. Unfortunately, due to Corona there is not any lobby or space to sit although there were chairs outside where you could sit. The room had a nice balcony but was facing a rather busy street, but I think this is rather unavoidable in the centre of Catania.

I travelled with my husband and we stayed here as a part of our road trip from southern to northern Italy. We had a nice stay in 8room Hotel thanks to the good accommodation and pleasant host Giovanna. ROOM: the room was spacious and clean. It was air conditioned and we enjoyed having a balcony where we could smoke. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. BED: it was too soft for my taste and a bit small for us (have in mind that we are big people) but we still had a good rest. The pillows were ok. BREAKFAST: it was served in our room due to the Covid restrictions. They fixed us with a nice combination of salty (toast with ham and cheese, boiled eggs) and sweet (toast with butter, croissant and pastry, fruit) breakfast with coffee and fruit juice. SURROUNDINGS: the neighbourhood was quiet. The hotel is approx 10 minutes away from the centre (on foot) and we felt safe to walk to the center and back, although the streets were a bit dark and narrow. We paid for a parking space and we left our car in the backyard. As far as I could see, there were parking spaces in the street in front of the hotel, but charged by the hour. COMMUNICATION: we did an online check in to speed up the process. Although we arrived late in the hotel, the hosts were there to welcome us and then they left us keys to enter the building after we had few drinks in the centre.

Everything was okay.

The location was perfect. Free wifi. Breakfast was okay. Very clean, daily maid service (this for us is very important). Giovanna and Giuseppe helped us with every questions that we had, with suggestions etc. Highly recommended. Thank You 8 room hotel! Jola & Kleant!

cheap breakfest , only some ham available and a few sweet staff. Coffee available only if somebody from hotel over there.

The property and the team were very welcoming and nice. They made sure that the guest was not only a number but a person who was cared for. Location is also very convenient, the facility is new and well maintained.
