Hotel Eden

Our family really enjoyed the split level room. The upstairs loft was very big, with 3 twin beds, and a sky window that opened with a nice view. It was nice to have a big separate downstairs room for the parents. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection, and we loved that we could bring our trays across the street to eat on the waterfront restaurant terrace. The staff was very friendly. It was easy to park in the many nearby free spaces. We loved the outdoor grassy roof deck with a great view of the old buildings. The location is right in the middle of all restaurants, with a beautiful view of the water, and a big supermarket one block away.

The air conditioner is loud, and you can hear traffic noise throughout the night.

From Aeroport Malpensa, I took the bus that went straight to Baveno with the stop next to the hotel(14 euro per person).I have beautiful views of church from my window. The staff of hotel were lovely and very helpful. Hotel location is perfect in the middle of all attractions:2 min from boat's ferry,tram Station, restaurants, 15 min walk distance to public beach.The embankment walk was so relaxing with views to the lake and mountains and islands .

In the evening my room smells food because of kitchen downstairs that cook for restaurant.

It is located directly across from Lake Maggiore. The breakfast included was wonderful. We were given a room that would have been perfect for a family. One room with Queen and attached room with 3 twins. The view off the lake was spectacular especially the sun rise. Walking distance of restaurants shopping and lake tours.

The parking is not convenient. Unloading wasn’t difficult as we happened to find a spot close to the hotel. The free parking is at the train station a short walk away. However if coming by train catch can to hotel… the walk with luggage would not be easy

This hotel is a super find, right on the lake front and our room view was out the back to the old church, bell and mountains, just super. Our room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was plentiful and a great selection. We were able to take breakfast out to the seating by the lakeside which was just perfect. We were touring on motorbikes and were able to park them safely at the rear of the property. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is 2 minutes walk to the ferry to the island tour which was fabulous, especially Isobella. I would happily stay here again if in the area.

Not quite as grand rooms as on the photos but only to be expected.

I had only an overnight stay but it was an excellent experience. The view of the lake, the mountains and the 3 Borromean islands is breathtaking! I was watching the flashing lightning in the distance at night and watching the sun rise in the morning. I had a restful and calming stay in this hotel. The lady at the reception was so kind and helpful, she let me extend my stay past the checkout time just so I can enjoy the room longer while waiting for my shuttle to arrive. When I was at the street to catch my shuttle, she ran towards me just to say goodbye. I feel so grateful I stayed here and would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Lake Maggiore.

the wifi is not stable. it comes and goes.

Superb location, travelled by car and even though the hotel doesn't have its own parking there is plenty of free parking near by at a few locations. We had a refurbished room over looking the lake, beautiful view. Breakfast was good with a good choice available and a choice of inside or outside seating. Cafes, restaurants, ferry terminal and train station all within walking distance. Small supermarket also around the corner.

Air conditioner was quite old but not really an issue and for the price we paid not gonna grumble. Hotel has no ironing service so good idea to take a travel iron if you may need one. Public laundry next to hotel also if you may need to use it.

The breakfast was amazing and the view while eating outside was incomparable. The food was so fresh and tasty, at dinner as well as breakfast. The staff was so pleasant and answered any questions we had. The price was great. I would definitely stay here every time I visited Lago Maggiore.

I am American and we are used to a little higher level of air conditioning but in Europe I don't expect that same level. Every other thing more than met our expectations.

Perfect location for access to transport ie,ferries/ bus/ train to explore the lake, hiking trails and popular lake attractions. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the stunning lakeside views. It is an authentic traditional Italian ‘family-run’ hotel which we loved, the staff were very accommodating and made our stay stress free!

Beautiful Lake front view & great selection for breakfast which you can take outside to enjoy by the waterfront. Friendly family run hotel. Nice little rooftop garden area looking toward the church. Close to many restaurants & public ferry. Train station walking distance & free car parking nearby. A little gem.

Location was great (just across from the waterfront in town), breakfast was fresh and good choices with the option of eating on the waterfront. Rooms were spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. Terrace with break grass was very nice and relaxing.

A kettle would have been nice in the rooms.
