Location is very good. Very busy neighborhood but room was quiet enough. Staff is well trained and really made a big effort to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. This is not so common in Israel. The room size is on the small side by American standards but pretty much in accordance with European standards. The old shower curtains of previous years, which were terrible and caused bathroom flooding, have been replaced with glass panes. This is a big improvement. The elevators work well, are well maintained, and operate efficiently and very smoothly. (This may be a small detail but can be a source of aggravation at other hotels.) Room and bathroom amenities and thoughtful little attentions are nice and appreciated. In-room and in-lobby complimentary coffee and water availability add an appreciated welcoming touch and are a very handy element of comfort. Breakfast is great. It offers a varied, lavish and tasteful menu. Breakfast staff are keen on providing good service under sometimes busy circumstances.

This hotel is rather better maintained than the average in Israel (and many places in Europe too) but still a number of things are in need of renovation or replacement: eg doors often do not fit the door frames, old door frames are chipped, the balcony needs renovation. The breakfast room gets very cramped and busy at rush hour. This can cause stress to the staff and discomfort to the guests. This room is actually too small, especially since it also serves as reception and lobby.

The location and the staff were excellent. The location is only a few steps from the promenade and the staff could not do enough for you. They were very attentive and helpful. We were invited to several happy hours with food and drink throughout our stay. The gifts left in our room were wonderful extra touches. We received a free bottle of wine, water and chocolates on our arrival. We also received a fruit platter and two (thank you for your stay) complimentary cosmetic bags filled with a lovely selection of toiletries on departure.

The room was a bit on the small side, but I believe this is fairly common with all hotels in Tel Aviv. Perfectly adequate for 2 people.

I have been to Israel on multiple occasions. My stay at the Savoy hotel was absolutely wonderful. Our spacious room was ready for us upon arrival. Check-in was easy and very friendly. The staff at reception is warm, caring, helpful, and friendly. A beautiful selection of chocolates and wine greeted us in our room. We would also be surprised on TWO more evenings with delicious fresh fruit platters! When we inquired about who sent them we were told this was from the management. Wow! Our room exceeded our expectations as far as size. The shower was great! good water pressure and excellent Locitane soap, shampoo, conditioner, and gel. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did a perfect job everyday cleaning and resupplying our room and making it a welcome place to return to after a day of adventure. The location of the Savoy was perfect for our needs. We were right across the boulevard from the beautiful beach and ocean almost exactly between Jaffa and the Marina. We could walk to both. There are great restaurants nearby. We took the conveniently located public bus right on the corner. Parking is an issue in Tel Aviv. We were able to find several convenient parking lots nearby (one is across the street). Yes... parking is expensive. Plan on approximately 40-60 dollars a day. Each morning we were treated to a full Israeli breakfast with a selection of omelets, salmon, cheeses, hot cereal, delicious fresh bread and fruit, fresh pastries, and various interesting salads, and dips. Great coffee too! The servers at breakfast were delightful and hard-working. We always felt energized to start our day after breakfast. There is a beautiful rooftop that is a hidden gem with lounge chairs and tables. Great view of the ocean. I had stayed a few blocks down the boulevard on my last trip to Israel. I am so glad I took a chance and tried the Savoy on this trip. I hope my review doesn't cause the Savoy to become too popular.

There was nothing not to like about the Savoy hotel!!!

Hotel's location is very nice . Right across from the beach and within 20 minutes walk(on the beautiful promenade) from Jaffa. Buses/trams are also very close to the hotel. Terrace on the roof is also great. You can have a glass of wine there at sunset time watching the sea. Carmel market is a few minutes away and Neve Tzedek is within walking distance. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. One of the best I have seen in my years of travel. Eggs, fruits, sweets and savory pastries. Also with a local taste for everything. Loved it ! Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Tried to help with everything. Room was cleaned every day.

Judging by the room dimension and facilities, might not be a 4 star, considering 4 stars european hotels. But have everything needed. Judging by the staff, it is a 5 stars! I've never seen such an amazing, nice team, all of them working together to create an incredible experience for the guests. Starting with the guys at the reception, the ladies from the restaurant, the housekeeping team, they are all very nice, polite, and walking the extra mile to help and support the guest. And the breakfast is delicious!

Hotel is on the first sea line. Rooms a medium size, quite, not outdated, clean and have baths (for me it was an important detail because most of the hotels don’t offer baths, only shower). The compliments Are surprising 😉 This hotel has a huge and dramatic story and if you’re in Tel Aviv I definitely recommend you to spend minimum a couple of nights there. Last but not the least the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Speak perfect English, Hebrew and some of them speak Russian also. You can literally ask them about anything and you will be welcome even if it’s not their part of a job. Honestly the best service I have ever experienced in Israel. Wish you all best guys and hope to see you soon! ✌🏻

the balcony door was a little bit broken, so it doesn’t close till the end, it doesn’t disturb at all so I wrote this just to not let this field empty. 😄 The hotel is amazing.

From the moment my mother and I checked-in, until the moment we checked, the Savoy Hotel was 5-stars across the board. There's no going wrong booking here. The service was impeccable. Friendly, helpful, overly accommodating—the front-desk people booked us restaurant reservations and taxi services, gave us directions everywhere, and even called a restaurant my mom left her sunglasses at to try and retrieve them. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, re-stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, soap, shower cap, vanity kit) and fresh towels that smelled amazing—so too did the beach towels we got every morning from the from desk—with a re-usable, environmentally friendly Savoy beach bag that's a lovely added freebie—along with the lovely bottle of white wine that came complimentary with the room. The traditional Israeli breakfast (served from 7am-10am weekdays and 7am-11am weekends) was incredible value and SO delicious. Along with all the juicy tropical fruit, yogurt, granola, pastries, and varieties of fresh bread you can eat, you also get a choice of eggs any-style and a tasty spread of cheese, humus, lox, tuna, olives, beets. You can also enjoy fancy coffees from the espresso machine—the macchiatos are better than Starbucks or Aroma! You can help yourself to juice (orange or lemonade) Nespresso coffee, hot tea, and pastries (chocolate and butter croissants, cinnamon and cheese buns) 24 hours a day. The piece de resistance is the roof-top balcony overlooking Jerusalem Beach. The all-day breeze the balcony gets is a welcome respite from the blazing-hot summer heat. You can sit up there under a giant umbrella or soak-in the rays on the lay-down chairs. It's peaceful and a wonderful spot to meet fellow hotel guests. Location wise, you could not be any closer to the beach - it's less than a one minute walk to the beach of your dreams.

I honestly can't think of anything that wasn't great!

The location is perfect for relaxing at the beach - just a few minutes walk away. We stayed during Yom Kippur and had a breakfast box delivered to our room that morning which was incredible - so much food and so much choice! The room was quiet with a partial view of the sea. Definitely worth visiting the roof terrace to watch the sunset. We were also invited to a Happy Hour in the lobby which was a really nice touch - some fizz and lovely food. Honestly can't fault this hotel - the breakfast which we ate outside was phenomenal - one of the best we've ever had. Lovely helpful staff too.

The location was absolutely perfect. It was a 10 second walk to the beach and close by to Carmel Market and so many great cafes. The rooftop was a great place to see the beautiful Tel Aviv sunsets.

The only issue is that the AC didn’t get very cold but the weather was really cool at night so it wasn’t a problem.
