The hotel is walking distance from most sightseeings. There are two SPAR supermarkets, very close to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and rooms were clean.

There is no refrigerator in the room and when we asked to put some food in the fringe, we got negative answer. Bathroom was lacking toilet brush.

The location was great for us. While most things were at least a 15 min walk, we really didn’t have an issue with it. The room was nice, clean and modern. I enjoyed that the bath towels were XL. The soap they provide smells very nice too! I felt secure there since one had to scan their key card to get into the elevator and to make the elevator get to a floor.

I was confused as to why there are ice machines but we didn’t get an ice bucket to collect it. Also when we got there, my husband paid more to get into a room for early check in and after we got our room, we couldn’t get in because the battery on the door was not working. It was attended to asap by the front desk and maintenance but it was a nuisance. And then by the end of the 2nd day one of our keys stopped working again.

The staff were very helpful even before I arrived. I called ahead to enquire if there were any spaces left in their on site car park as I was in a hurry to an event and the woman who answered kindly checked and told me yes there were. I was able to drive straight to the hotel instead of trying to find parking elsewhere. When I arrived she had already checked me in and had my keys waiting for me instead of me having to use the self-service check in kiosk. The room was clean, comfortable and with modern decor. The bathroom was also very modern and clean. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, it was a self-service breakfast but everything was fresh and there were a number of options to suit most palates. Overall my stay here far exceeded my expectations of a chain hotel and I would definitely come back.

There was very little I disliked about my stay, one think that irked me was a lack of any shelf or counter space in the bathroom to leave my toiletries. I kept them in my toiletries bag on the floor for the duration of my stay. I'm sure it makes not difference that this was a disabled friendly room, it was a large bathroom with a walk in shower but somewhere to keep one's toiletries would be appreciated.

Location was fine and easy walking distance to most attractions. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast we had were buffet style with a good variety. Felt the price for breakfast was a little high. Cleaning staff always made sure we had clean towels and did freshen up the room each day.

When using the shower the floor was always wet regardless what you did as there was no way of not having water get outside the shower area. The 4 days we were there were some of the hottest days experience by Dublin yet the air conditioning in the room did not work. Leaving the window open helped during the day but had to be closed because of the amount of traffic noise in the early morning.

Location, facilities and bed comfort were excellent. Staff were very helpful as it was my husbands birthday. They arranged extras for a charge and offered options. Breakfast was very good. Plenty choice. I didn't see pancakes advertised anywhere but seen others with and finally asked my last day. They were fantastic!

The evening menu didn't have much choice. I has arranged a 3 course pre paid. Menu was light bites, main meal and desserts but lite bites were what I would class as a snack/lunch only real starter was soup. Meal was very good but not quite what I had hoped doe for a birthday meal. No faults at the hotel at all.

We liked the location of the hotel as it was near St. Patrick's Church (beautiful inside and has a beautiful park) and easy to walk to the city center. The reception upon check in was welcoming.

The bathroom's half "door" for the shower was not the best as it does not allow for an enjoyable shower because you are so concerned about flooding the floor. I did not make a request for a quiet room, so not sure if that is why we were situated far from the elevator. We had quite a bit of luggage and so that was just a bit inconvenient since there isn't someone to assist with luggage but that is not a deal breaker.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by three lovely ladies at the front desk. Each was so kind to us. They made us feel at ease and excited about our stay. They gave us great instructions and had the room all ready for us. If it weren't for those ladies at the desk, the stay would have been different. They made us feel safe, secure, and at ease. They treated us very well with genuine care. Once we got into our room, we were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. The decor was classy and inviting. The bedding was clean and so comfortable. The bed itself was excellent. The bathroom was spotless and well equipped. Everything was beautiful and VERY clean. We had a beautiful view from our window. The location of this hotel is spot on perfect. We felt it was very easy and quick to walk to the city center. Everything was within walking distance, so we never had to get a taxi, bus, etc. There is not one thing that was a negative about this lovely hotel. It was also a great rate compared to the other hotels nearby. We plan to visit again next summer, and this time, we will be staying a lot longer. There is no doubt in our minds. We will be staying at the Maldron Hotel each and every time we visit Dublin.

We loved everything. Cannot give one negative review.

We arrived very early on an overseas flight. Finding the car park was a bit tricky. Some signage would be helpful as well as a line or indication on which direction the gates open (ie leaving, we had to quickly reverse to avoid being hit). We were pretty tired from our travels and walking 10 miles throughout Dublin and overslept breakfast which had been included in our booking. The waitress was lovely and allowed us to fix a plate of fruit while she brought us a croissant and coffee/tea. We were leaving to drive to Galway so her hospitality was much appreciated.

The hotel met our needs. There was no disappointment. I am curious why Irish and English hotels do not provide washcloths in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful cathedral view room. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The parking lot was very convenient and had a lift to get to the room from there. They had luggage carts available for use. The vending machines were great. Their coffee was spectacular. The buffet breakfast was great and always full. No advance reservations needed. They provided maps and had tickets for tours available for purchase at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable.

The shower had a half glass door with a handheld shower head that splashed water everywhere. Breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate and parking was also additional. The carpet was stained and really needed to be replaced. They didn’t provide blankets. The beds are made with a top sheet and a folded decorative throw at the foot of the bed, but nothing substantial to sleep with.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The bathrooms should get a little attention as the moisture from the shower was peeling the paint above the shower; otherwise no issues. The location was great and walking distance to all the venues we wanted to see. The hotel staff was friendly.

We had breakfast included, which was basic but fine; however, it seems that breakfast room was understaffed and little chaotic with items running out and not being replenished in time which may have made some coffee-drinking guests inpatient.
