The hotel was very central, right next to Grafton Street and a shopping mall on the corner. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk away and we did walk to many places including Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Lots of bars, cafes, and traditional pubs are close by. The hotel was very nice inside, clean and modern with helpful staff. The room had been recently renovated and was all new. Very spacious, with a good wardrobe/closet size for 2 people. The bathroom was great - they had the same shower head/system as us at home and good water pressure. The bathroom toiletries had a lovely smell. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best breakfasts we have experienced and we travel a lot. My husband was eating three courses for breakfast every day, starting with fruit pots, then a hot cooked meal, and ending with something sweet, like a chocolate croissant or mini muffins with jam. The hot breakfast menu was excellent, and there were bars with all sorts of other things for you to choose from - cereals, yogurt pots, baked goods, etc.

Nothing - everything was fine.

It’s grand and luxurious- modern and fresh - Yet it maintains an old world charm. The location is Prime. This hotel could easily charge double what it does and it would still be well priced. The staff is HIGHLY professional in all of their knowledge, but very personable,..as though they were friends that owned an Inn and cared about your comfort and needs I am a seasoned traveler and CAN NOT say enough about this spectacular hotel. If there were Michelin stars for hotels - this would garner 5. As it stands, I give it a 10+ out of 10 hotel rating in every category. Thank you Aileen at reception for giving “above and beyond,” in response to all of my eccentric needs and queries. As an aside, I extended my stay twice. That says everything.

I would love to see this hotel in every city.

The most amazing Guinness bread, the most incredible hollandaise sauce, wonderful smiling and helpful people, great service. The shower was wonderful and especially the receptionist (from Argentina) was sweet, polite and helpful in getting us a room next to the elevator so my husband did not have to walk so far to our room.

For breakfast, I would have loved a ginger shot, and chia seeds, and a choice of earl grey tea, but that's just me, I'm big on healthy food. You could save on giving guests 1 chocolate each instead of 2...nobody needs that much sugar just before sleeping. I would have liked less coca cola but more fruit juice in the minibar. And I hope the new rooms will have more outlets to plug in our computer and phone (maybe without needing a converter).

The room was very comfortable. The bar area was enjoyable for before and after dinner drinks. The location of the hotel was excellent - with the shopping centre, Grafton Street, St. Stephens Green, all nearby. Plus many, many options for food and drink all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent - the best scrambled eggs!

The location of the room was at the end of a hallway and a long way to walk, but they did offered to change our room. There was a staff shortage one day at breakfast, so service was very slow. However, the waitstaff that WAS there did the best job they could.

We liked everything! The location was absolutely perfect! Walking distance to all of the sites. Grafton street is just around the corner and only a 10 min walk to Temple Bar area. The room was really quiet even though facing the park and street we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Mini bar was complimentary and surprisingly lots to choose from, spirits, ciders and beer plus sodas and water. The water was restocked everyday as well as the mini bar but only with alcohol free drinks wich was more than generous. The room was cleaned every day. Bathrobes very comfy. Breakfast was super. You had a very nice buffé with youghurts, smoothies, breads, cold cuts, fruits, pasty and so much more. You ordered your hot choice from a menu, and you must try the baked eggs, simply delicious! We had a dinner meal at the bar restaurant, Fish and chips, and the steak. Both really nice. We asked to have a late checkout and got an extra hour without any problems. All staff was amazing. We would absolutely go back.

Can´t think of anything. We liked everything.

The staff was super friendly. My girlfriend and I looked a bit out of place compared to the other guests, but the staff still treated us with utmost respect and friendliness. We felt really welcome. So if any other LGBTQ+ travellers sees this: This hotel is safe! You won't regret! Breakfast was super nice. Beds were extremely comfy. Really loved the green-purple colour scheme the hotel uses in their interior design.

There were only UK-type plugs in the rooms and no adaptors available. I wish for the price of the rooms they had USB-hubs (no plug problems anymore) I even went to youth hostels who had those. I also think the TV's are due for replacement. I don't expect smart TVs but a TV that you can cast to with your phone would have been nice. Let's be honest nobody watches cable anymore. I think they could save some money cancelling their cable TV. Most people just cast netflix, amazon prime, Disney+ from their phone to tv.

Every single staff member was warm, professional and kind. They really are the pride of this hotel. There were lots of little extras - chocolates at bedtime, and luggage delivered to my room when it became available. The location is superb. You are right beside Grafton Street for shopping, as well as being spoiled for choice in terms of nearby restaurants and bars. There’s a tram stop across the road, and a taxi rank nearby if you want to venture a little further. Glovers Alley, the on site Michelin Star restaurant, was a real treat. Delicious food, with first class service!

My room was tired, with holes in the carpet, chipped tables, a cracked sink and stained cushions. This was a shame, as it detracted from the luxury stay I had been looking forward to. The bedding was very thin, which for cold evenings in October left me uncomfortably chilly. The air conditioning didn’t really seem to make much of an impact on the temperature of the room to try and alleviate the cold temperature. I’d love to return, but the room I stayed in does need a little TLC to fit in with the five star character the hotel deserves.

Upgraded to a balcony view over St Stephen’s Green which was a really nice surprise. We had evening drinks outside as it was mild for October. We also watched the runners participating in the Dublin marathon. Breakfast was superb. Beautifully cooked breakfast with an excellent range of cooked options. The avocado on wheaten bread and scrambled eggs and pancakes with bacon were both wonderful. Service excellent, helpful, professional staff. Breakfast also Included lots of continental breakfast options. Fruit, smoothies, yoghurt compote, breads, pastries, cereal, honeycomb, just delicious! Had a minibar in the room too which was a nice touch. Turndown service which gorgeous chocolates at nighttime. Fantastic venue for visiting Dublin. Luas Tram right outside the hotel, as well as horse and carriages. St Stephen’s Green shopping centre a 1 min walk from hotel. Would recommend.

Stayed over weekend so there is some street noise with a nearby nightclub but didn’t distract from sleep too much.

Exceptional visit to The Fitzwilliam Dublin, from the moment we walked into Reception we were greeted by the most efficient, professional and kind Receptionist who gave us all of the information about our stay, it was a birthday celebration for our daughter and the attention shown to us during our stay made our visit extra special. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and so quiet for a city centre hotel. Parking is available and there are EV charging points if required. We had drinks in the bar, and the staff there were also very efficient, and good fun . Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for any of the team at the Fitzwilliam. Great choice for Breakfast, and a lovely place on the Mezzanine to have our first meal of the day. I cannot recommend the Fitzwilliam Dublin highly enough, we had a wonderful stay there and will definitely be back. Congratulations to everyone at the Fitzwilliam, your hospitality is of the highest standard only made possible by the fantastic team there .
