Lovely hotel, attentive and helpful staff, very organised.Thumbs up for the DVD library, you can rent DVDs for free. Very satisfied with our dinner in the hotel. One of the best chowders I've ever had. The Fresh Donegal catch was so delicious too and so was strawberry panacota. Lovely breakfast as well. Overall our stay was nice.

Wasn't impressed with the bed. Extremely soft, when you turn around you are bouncing for another minute. That's my personal opinion. Someone might find it comfy. Me and my wife prefer mattresses more firm. When we flushed the toilet refilling was creepy noisy. At night you want to escape the room . Wouldn't expect these things in four star accommodation.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Staff so friendly and hotel is so cosy and homely. It was my mam and dads 57th Wedding Anniversary and as a beautiful gesture, the hotel upgraded my mam and dads room to an absolutely amazing room. Was so kind of them to do that, and on our final nights stay, the bar manager bought our table (4 people) a round of drinks, drink of our choice, which I thought was a wonderful thing for them to do. All round a beautiful hotel, and all the staff are absolutely amazing.

Breakfast was perfect. It was hot & served quickly. The staff were lovely & very pleasant. We had our evening meal in the bar the previous night & it was lovely. The food was served hot & staff were very pleasant. Our room was big & very comfortable. Everywhere was very clean.

Although the bathroom was clean & the shower was good some attention was required to do repairs. There were cracked tiles, the toilet cistern lid was broken, the handle was loose as was the toilet roll holder on the wall. More TV channels would be good.

My room was huge and very comfortable. The hotel is old-school with very friendly staff. I would definitely choose to stay there again. I liked the way the rooms were themed - mine was Gweedore, a place I have always loved, so I had lovely wall art and photos in my room. The bar food was fine, though no low calorie options. The breakfast was very nice, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled egg.

A light over the vanity mirror would have been nice, but otherwise everything was great.

The room was very large, spacious and well laid out. A large double / king sized bed. A fold down ironing board, 3 seats and a large table to sit at, read off, eat of There was a decent sized wardrobe for keeping clothes in. All round a good room.

Our room was located facing the main road and due to a large traffic flow it was quiet noisy. A leaky tap in the bathroom was a bit annoying but these are minor issues. There is not a lot to fault. I genuinely enjoyed the hotel.

Just back from a fabulous stay for my husbands birthday. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and the room was absolutely beautiful. A lovely dessert left in the room for his birthday on arrival a very nice touch. The restaurant food and breakfast was delicious. The hotel was lovely and warm and the beds very comfortable. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, the bar staff went out of their way to make my mums birthday memorable... Put sparkler on cake and brought it round to the fire for her and sang happy birthday.... Rooms, exceptional, comfortable, very clean. Food beautiful. Just outside the town of letterkenny, 2 min, drive, so handy. Great price. Perfect!! Thank you guys. Looking forward to going back again.

There is nothing i would change, maybe only stay longer!.

Very inviting clean decor throughout. Staff always on hand and very helpful. Food delicious hot and plentiful. Yvonne at reception was over and beyond. she upgraded my elderly parents room they got a beautiful ground floor suite for their 62nd wedding anniversary. We really appreciated that. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended. if you’re looking somewhere in Letter Kenny or the whereabouts to stay this is the hotel.

Lovely restaurant in the hotel, with the best steak I'd had in ages! Apparently the spa in the hotel is phenomenal, but unfortunately I couldn't book into it as they were full. Still, I went up and had a look and bought myself some nice cream. The heat in my room was absolutely blasting when I arrived; I asked them to turn it OFF while I was out after the first night but it was still on slightly when I returned. The front desk sent up a young man who worked in the restaurant because maintenance had gone home, and he couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, offering me a new room (they were all hot!), and eventually turning my heat off all the way and bringing me a fan! Lastly, when I had to change my flight plans and get to the Belfast airport to avoid travel disruptions, they didn't have any rooms available that night for me... but the woman at the front desk called around a number of hotels in Belfast and got me a good rate at one, which was actually a much better plan so I could be ready for my flight out the next morning!

Shame they don't save some booking slots at the spa for guests but there was a wedding coming and some staff off sick, so understandable. Also probably a good idea not to have the heat turned up quite so high in every room as it takes longer to cool down than heat up!

Staff very friendly and the hotel is nicely located and quiet at night. Great choices at breakfast, and the fry was very tasty. Dined in the restaurant first night had a great meal, the apple tart was excellent 👍
