Sagara Villas and Suites Sanur

Staff service was outstanding Breakfast menu was great Felt safe & secure being part of the complex but with the added bonus of privacy of our own villa Beautiful gardens & grounds away from the hustle & bustle Well located being just a short walk to beach & restaurants etc

Lack of any lighting in the bathroom above the mirror & very little of crockery/glasses/cutlery in the kitchenette

*No direct beach access but it was a quick walk to beach using jl. cemara

Everything! we had a 1br villa and it was perfect! The grounds are beautiful, staff are so lovely. Beds and pillows super comfy, AC worked perfectly. pool was in full sun with comfy lounges. complimentary afternoon tea of coffee/banana fritters and evening turn down service. Being attached to Me Vue Vietnamese restaurant was an added bonus and breakfast in villa options were excellent…Very quiet also!

The staff are wonderful. We stayed for 9 days and they knew us by name on the second day. Nothing was a problem, everyone was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the lunch and dinner menu was also delicious. The Villas were spacious and clean, with a water filter and plenty of room in the fridge to chill the water.

good location and the staff are very helpful and attentive.

all the linen and towels need to be updated as the are getting a bit old and are grey not white anymore

The pool was amazing, the room was clean and well resourced, the bathroom facilites were great. Breakfast was also wonderful, however when we asked for an American Breakfast we requested no pastries ( as we knew we couldn't fit them in and didn't want to waste them) but they came anyway.

It seemed that the cleaning of the room came too soon after the breakfast, and didn't often give you time to get ready for four people in your room. Would have been great if that happened about an hour after breakfast rather than 30 minutes. There was also a loud speaker ( not from Sagara Villa's ) that woke us up every day at around 6.30am. We can only assume that it was the Mosque call to prayer. As Bali is a Hindu location, we have never encountered this before and wonder why this is allowed in an area that is predominantly Hindu. This is not a reflection on the Sagara Villa's as they would have no control over this, but want to mention this as something that impacted our stay.

*Super friendly staff *Location: 5min to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. *Huge rooms *Hot water (especially in the rainy season) *Breakfast: enough choices incl good coffee *No outdoor noise if doors were closed I would definitely stay in Sanur again. We went to Canggu for 1 day, and had to walk on the busy streets with 3 kids as there were no foot paths. And traffic was horrible. Sanur is so much quieter and has a nicer beach.

We didn't use the big bath in the room, as we heard that it takes several hours to fill it up. And it sounds like waste of water. Maybe The Hotel can find another purpose for the space?

Beautiful grounds, pool and villa ans service is impeccable. The Vietnamese restaurant in front was fantastic and we ate there twice. Location is great. Close enough to walk down to the beaches and convenience stores, some beach clubs and supermarket with international favourites. Large rooms and bathrooms in the villa.

The villa was starting to show signs of age and needed some small repairs and a deep clean. The grounds and pool are beautiful and well kept though.

The small scale Sagara Villas & Suites resort is an oasis! The resort is beautifully designed around a nice garden, large swimming pool, and a pool side bar/restaurant. We stayed in a villa with private pool; all privacy! There are only 8 villas and a limited number of suites. So, this resort provides a quiet holiday environment. All staff is very friendly, and always available to help. There is a great selection of breakfast menus, and also the dinner menu offers a lot of choice. All food is very tasty, so is the coffee. This oasis is located in the center of Sanur with shops, restaurants, bars, money changers, and tour operators in the street immediately outside the entrance. You can access the beach through a number of pathways or through hotel gardens next door; 5 mins walk. There is no playground, and we would not recommend this quiet resort for families with young kids. For us this is a "must return" resort. Even after 14 days, we had not enough!

Truly nothing!

The villas are beautiful and private with your own pool and lounge/dining/kitchen area and lovely big bathroom with outdoor shower. You can have breakfast served in your villa with a good choice of options and real coffee. The rest of the property has lovely gardens and a bigger pool with a great Vietnamese restaurant out the front. You can order food to eat around the pool.

The tiles can become very slippery when it rains. It would be good to have more hanging space for towels and some drawers to store clothes. Also there were no bedside lights in our villa.
