Andaz Bali - a Concept by Hyatt

This is a hotel like no other I've stayed in before. It has 3 restaurants located around a central courtyard which they call the Village Marketplace. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner from 1 or all 3 restaurants whilst sat in any of the restaurants. The whole place is beautiful - from the rooms, the public areas, the pools, beach, reception area etc. There is also a place which serves free tea, coffee and snacks 10am-10pm each day, bike rentals and towels for the beach are also free, with some classes you can take (e.g. yoga, aqua aerobics etc). Our room was huge with a wall which could open up to connect the bedroom to the giant bath tub, or close for privacy. The spa is next door at the Grand Hyatt and there is a little buggy cart that drops you off. That was also stunning and we had an excellent Balinese massage there!

This place cost x3-4 times more than other hotels we stayed in Bali. There are definitely places which are also beautiful and also great locations for a lower cost. However if you're thinking of a special occasion or want a unique experience, it's worth trying. We went for a special birthday and I have no regrets, the best hotel I've ever stayed in!

Rooms aren't completely sound proof and I had some trouble sleeping with the live music at night, however I used my headphones and that pretty much took care of it. I would request for a quieter room in a different part of the hotel next time.

This was by far our best stay in Bali! wonderful big room (booked the suite) with a large terrace that connected to (one of the) pools which we basically had to ourselves. Be sure to book ground floor for direct access. Friendly staff. Acces to the beach straight through the hotel gardens. We had a wonderful time!

be sure to book breakfast included into room price because it is quite pricey and nit really worth such price due to really small portions which gorce you to re-order. Food in the hotel restaurants seems to be reduced to rather basic dishes (wok, burger, pasta) which do no justice to the otherwise great environment.

All Andaz's staff have had goes beyond provided personal touches & very memorable experiences during our stay. A special thank you to Ibu Ayu (front desk) & Bapak Yustin (duty manager). We are celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary ❤️, on their own initiative they have surprises us with a special handwritten card with personal congratulation messages and a very nice cake. Andaz will be our default place to stay in many of our upcoming trips in Bali

Nothing. But for the sake of continously improvement, may be I would like to suggest to add more Balinese cousine in one of your 5 restaurants, example is the Balinese mixed rice with the unique chilli 🌶 paste

Great concept hotel at nice location with good restaurants and great breakfast as well as modern facilities and appealing design alongside pleasant complimentary services.

Moved from one room to another and no late check-out or early check-in was offered but been told we'd need to bridge a three hour long gap somehow instead of offering a lunch or massage for example and room wasn't ready by 3pm but 4pm - again - nothing was offered to make up for the delay.

Amazing service. Great facilities and very clean. It's simply amazing. Would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was excellent and very spacious. We liked the concept of the restaurants being set around a village square. The pools and staff around the pools were very helpful. We loved the breakfast, especially the local dishes.

As I said, the service around the pools was brilliant but my son did cut his toe in the kids pool. Staff did come quickly to offer aid. The only slight downside in what was a brilliant stay was that my 3yo son likes to snack on breakfast cereal during the day. So my wife went to one of the restaurants to ask for some. She was passed from one staff member to another, until a more senior staff member just said, of course, please help yourself. This was the correct thing to do especially when you are already paying a reasonable amount of money to stay in such a fantastic resort.

The outdoor space, the design, the walking path.

I don’t like the kids room. there is a huge screen in it. kids don’t play with other toys, just look at the screen. When I bring my kid to the play room, I want my child plays and learns. For the parents who prefer their kids watch tv can keep them in the room, will be the same. it’s absolutely disappointing to see a huge tv inside the playroom.

Everything you would expect for 5 star resort. Fabulous rooms

Very big, sometimes getting lost back to find my room. I’m sure if I stayed longer this wouldn’t have been an issue but for 1-2 nights was a little confusing. Also woke up early for pranayama class on the beach which was advertised by the pool but wasn’t really worth it. No mat given and, although the staff was very friendly, they didn’t have much experience and it was over in less than 30 minutes. I would have expected more from a resort like this.

Absolutely stunning. We traveled with our 5 month old and 3 year old and stayed in a suite room which had plenty of space for all of us and separate living area and bedroom. The staff were amazing! So helpful, accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect - beautiful beach (lovely for swimming during high tide), lovely sunrises, right on the broad walk which you can push a stroller along. The hotel is beautiful - a hidden jungle. Super modern but still unique. Impeccable service. Great location, can walk around. Pool is beautiful. Kids pool was great too. Highly recommend getting the breakfast. We had such a lovely week here and so recommend staying here!!

Food and drink prices within the resort were pretty inflated.
