Grand La Walon Hotel

This hotel had an amazing deal, which is why I chose to stay. When Legian is back up and running this will be a great location. As of now, with the borders just reopening for tourists, this area is very quiet and much of what once was, is no more. This property, along with much of the area has a feeling of being run down, but the potential is there. The pool was beautiful and the staff was very kind. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable.

When I was there, there was construction going on and the elevator didn’t work. the air conditioning wasn’t super powerful, and the room was not as clean as I would have liked - smudges on the mirror, etc. The air felt heavy in the room and I suspect there is mould under the wallpaper because my allergies acted up while I was there.

Fantastic hotel in the best location! It's very comfortable and clean. I was on the Benesari side and the road is a little noisy, but earplugs fixed that and I slept well. So close to everything and a 24/7 Circle K right across the road. Not fancy, but great value for money.

fantastic location, excellent value for money, good options for buffet breakfast, good TV channels have AFL and NRL games also, the hotel is so welcoming and obliging starting to feel like a second home, staying again with family next visit, I stay at this location for some or all of my stay whenever I go to Bali, highly recommend

From our Arrival to check-out , everything was perfect. The most beautiful staff, awesome price, we stayed 9 nights. Bella was amazing. Excellent location, we had Balcony and enjoyed sitting out watching sunsets. We Had fresh Ink, make sure you tell the desk, as they use different linen. Room service was amazing. Extremely comfy beds. We can't wait to come Back to Bali and we definitely will be staying here on our trips. MINI Mart across the road, beautiful Sushi restaurant. It was the BOMB. YUMMO .it's a must for sushi Lovers.. Big thank you to the Staff for everything . Miss you already 🙏❤️

The room had everything I needed. The pool area was nice and shaded (I hate full sun) The food at the resturant was very good. I had breakfast there most days & it was good value for money. The staff were friendly and always said hello. The cleaner who came to my room each day was really friendly. Everything is within a few metres walk from the hotel. A good money changer next door, a good laundry across the lane as well as a circlek store.

The toilet in my room took a few flushes before it would flush properly. They fixed it but it didn't change much. I had a street view room and it was quite noisy in the evening until around 2am. Didn't reallt effect my sleep too much but if you are a light sleeper it may be a problem.

i had asked for 3 rooms next to each other and that was given to me and also asked for one interconnecting room which was also given to me ,the staff were nice and friendly and central to everything

there were rats in the roof which kept us awake at night ,told the front desk who proceeded to lay traps in our room ,we had each cought a rat there was also mould all over our mattress which i had asked the staff to change to a new one that didnt have black mould on it

The staff were very friendly and obliging. The buffet breakfast was good. The pool was large and clean. The rooms were a good size and the bed was huge and comfortable.

For me this hotel is a great cheaper option. The location for me again was great, i walked to the beach, garlic lane, kuta nightlife area. The room was large enough, comfy bed, clean and the bathroom was a bit small but nothing wrong with it. The pool area isn't very private but still nice to relax by. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is basic but toast is fine for me. The only negative the towels could do with an update, some were new others weren't great. Overall i would stay here again

The only negative is the quality of the towels and the bathroom floor against the wall beside the toilet could do with a good clean. Overall i have no real huge problems and would stay again.

The room was as per the pictures on line. Great room in quite area of the hotel. The pool was clean, the staff was on the area cleaning making sure you where cared for. breakfast was a buffet good meals. Very good staff. the taxi that came to the hotel was on time and full of information. on the way to the airport Komang Widiasa +6281227841704 showed us some interesting things. very knowledgeable of the area and the Island. Would recommend him. I will use again.

The first night the toilet kept running every 5 minutes for 10 seconds, could not sleep. Next morning told front desk and the ladies happy to comply and called the plumber to go to the suite after we had are breakfast. done deal.

Great customer service, good communication throughout my stay and before. Thank you for the staff for making me feel looked after and for providing personalised service. Staff is all very kind and helpful. Food is good especially the chicken snitzel - exceptional. Room service provides bottled water daily, cleaning daily, coffee and kettle in room. Nice pool, good for swimming too. Everything is really close, ATM 2 mins away, shop opposite the hotel, plenty of bars and nice little restaurants around the area. Hotel taxi driver also very accommodating and helpful, and it's such a great idea to have a designated driver at the hotel. Very reasonable prices on the restaurant and in the hotel as well as their taxi too.

Rooms are a bit worn down could do with a face-lift. Coffee is not my for my tasting, no milk alternatives. Towels worn off and stained.
