The Pavilion Hotel Kuta

All the rooms are set around a pool with lots of vegetation. The staff were exceptionally good. Very helpful :) The location is in a lively area, but down a nice side street, so is very quiet. It's also safe to walk around at night on your own. The room was almost perfect. Everything worked and the stylish design was modern and simple. A/C worked well. The TV had many English speaking channels. WiFi was good throughout. There have been some comments that the upper floors didn't have good WiFi, but I saw booster routers and this seems to have fixed this. I checked the speed on the the 3rd floor and it was fast. Overall I thought it was a perfect hotel :)

Although the rooms are very nice to be in, they are slightly on the small side. It didn't bother me, but might affect some people. The ground floor rooms are next to the swimming pool, so there is some noise in the daytime, with people talking and walking past etc. I would recommend the 2 upper floors if you wanted peace and quiet. I stayed in 2 rooms - 1 on the upper floor, 1 on the ground floor (room "J"). Room J had an interconnecting door to the neighbouring room. Whilst it was locked etc, there was some noise coming through from the other room. It's not a big issue but something to bear in mind if you want total quiet.

Made and all staff were very hospitable and helpful. They helped carry our luggage to our rooms upstairs and explained how to use the controls in the rooms. They met all our requests promptly. Gave us bottles of drinking water and fresh towels when we didn't want our rooms cleaned. Made even went all the way to offer getting a Grab car for our journey to airport as it was cheaper - Rp 50,000 instead of Rp200,000 from the private car drivers on the roadside. So, get ready Grab app when you are in bali. It will save you a lot. The local bakery shop beside the hotel is great! Try the peanut cookies.

The location isn't great if you're looking at more affluent shopping or eating. Kuta is busy and other than the malls such as Beachwalk Shopping Centre, the street shopping is not as great as Legian or Seminyak. Room space a little tight. Can just about laid an opened medium sized luggage on the floor. Anymore luggage need to stay closed and upright. But I guess land value in Kuta area is higher.

Really a nice small guest house with a very beautiful pool. Well, and as already mentioned in endless previous rating comments, the staff is really extraordinary. The rooms. We had a smaller room before which had bad Internet connection so they upgraded us to one of the downer rooms, close to the pool which was fantastic. So much more spacious and with a table and bigger bathroom. Nice bed. We had a scooter which is easy to get so we could drive around a lot in busy Kuta. It is a 6 min drive from the Hotel to the beginning of the beach.

It's a green oasis right in the middle of busy Kuta. I had an upstairs room with a double bed, which was great as I had my own little balcony. The pool was a nice way to cool down after a long day and you barely noticed the busy city around you. The room had a little fridge, water bottles, a kettle and some teas. There's also a tv. The water got replaced if used and there was even a laundry service for a good price. The staff were my personal favourite, they were so friendly, accommodating and always up for a little chat. I would definitely stay here again.

There is only 1 socket in the room which is behind the small table away from the bed, and it is use for the table lamp. Not really much space to put stuff so just on the floor. The toilet smells funny everytime flush. The bed is dissapointing which is superior with 1 large double bed..but it seems like they just combine the 2 single bed into 1..can feel the uncomfortable space in the middle.. Location in the alley, car couldn't really get in.

Only stayed a night before my trip to the island. Good, comfortable, clean place for a rest, the receptionist suggested the double bed which room is bigger. Nice to have water, coffee, towels and hairdryer in the room. The staff were lovely and helpful in replying to messenger. The leisure pool looks lovely but we didn't have time to check it out.

The single beds' room is tiny and the same comments from others that the shower drain is very slow. The wifi connection is SO bad. They need to restart it from time to time.

Staff are very eager to help. Clean. Everything was in good repair (the shower head even sprayed straight). Quiet (for Kuta). Easy walk to McDonald's, there's a beach and about a thousand clubs too. We met a couple that has booked there 3 times now - high praise. Great value

We stayed at many hotels around Bali and most had a smell from the bathroom (no wax?). This one did as well but not too bad and didn't leave the bathroom. You're going to get ants if you leave out any food -that's another Bali thing though. Probably won't avoid that unless you go up to $200/night place. Railings in our room would not stop a tiny human If you're planning on bringing the party back to your room, this may be too quaint for you.

The staff are so smiley and friendly at this hotel. The pool is a great temperature and big enough to swim short laps. The room is a good size with fridge and kettle and a desk to work so had everything you need.

We were in room A which was opposite reception, on a couple of occasions people would stop right outside our room to have conversations when they were checking in or out early or late. We even got a couple of people using our balcony chairs as a waiting room and they took my towel off so they could sit down! Of course not the hotels fault at all, just a bit annoying.

Very very polite and helpful staff. We ask for late check out and there was no problem(of course we paid for it) and we also were allowed to check in 90 Min before the time. The price of the room is what you get,it was comfortable and the bed was very good. The staff even arrange a taxi to the airport for us free of charge. If you want a "cheap" place near Kuta this is the right hotel. Actually satisfied.

There was a weird smell coming from the sink sometimes,not sure what's the cause.
