Location, great smiling staff, very clean and well smelling Rooms, towels and shower gel. Very nice breakfast, good cocktails

Boats in front of the hotel on very nice beach. Not nice for swimming.. sea is very nice and clear, beach is nice. But due to lit of small excursion boats is not the best place for swimming

We had a lovely stay at Scallywags. The location was perfect, close to the harbor and center of activities, but it was also quiet inside the hotel. Our garden room was very cozy and cute. It had everything we needed during our stay, including a medium-sized fridge, water gallon, electric kettle, safe, and bathrobes. We loved the semi-outdoor bathroom and the little garden on the terrace. My son loved the swimming pool and the water always had a good temperature. Perfect for sunny days! Breakfast was a la carte and there were 6 sets to choose from. It was good and enough portion We'd definitely come back.

Some things to improve, although it didn't bother our stay: - Breakfast: While the English breakfast was very good, we were rather disappointed with the French toast. The bread was too thin and very soggy. We also had granola with yogurt, we had very little yogurt on the first day, but the next day we had quite enough, but it's less compared to the amount of granola. The service was so-so. We had to find the servers to ask for the menu even after sitting at our table for quite a while. Would be nice to have a cappuccino/latte as part of the coffee option (only Lombok coffee) - The floor cleaner they used always left the floor wet and sticky for a long time. - The hot water was sparse, but it was OK due to the hot weather.

This was one of our favourite resorts in our month stay in Bali! The location was perfect, right on the beach and a stones throw from all the great restaurants and bars along tumbe main strip. It was also a short cycle ride to turtle point where we preferred to spend our beach days. Our room had a private plunge pool in the garden at the front which was small but amazing to jump into after a day out! A lovely temperature too.

A couple of nights we heard some rustling sounds int the ceiling above us which woke us up. The breakfast was okay, although it is served in their restaurant on the beach which is lovely.

Everything was good. We had a wonderful breakfast at a beachfront table, swam in the sea and relaxed straight onto our beach beds. It was very cosy that we spent most of our stay on beach beds! The staff were very friendly and arranged a smooth transfer from the airport. We chose a garden room on the first floor. I think it was the right choice. The location is also only a few minutes' walk to the main area of Gili, where we can have dinner at the hotel if we want chill night, and if we want to have a night out, there are many pubs to enjoy a short walk away. We stayed for 5 nights and still wanted to stay. Thank you very much to all the staff. We had a very nice holiday!

Nothing special

breakfast was by the water and was excellent. rooms were clean and serviced daily. AC and wifi was excellent. Rooms were soundproof so could not hear anything in the night. the hotel has a great vibe and is in the middle of everything. it was not on the opposite side of gili T where everything is quieter. the streets are bustling, people walking, it was very festive which is how we like it but even with all that, the resort inside is private and quiet

nothing really.

Lovely private garden out the front & gorgeous outdoor bathroom with excellent hot shower out the back. Luxurious toiletries in refillable glass bottles. Filtered water provided in the room to refill drink bottles. Generous breakfast with lots of options & fabric napkins rather than tissues. Comfortable bed & plenty of pillows. Very lovely & attentive staff.

Staying in a twin room, the beds were very close together & there was one bedside table which was only accessible from one bed. Hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be good as there was nowhere to hang clothes in the bathroom. Would have liked a drying rack for wet swimming things out the front.

The property is in a great location right on the main strip. The garden room was spacious with an outside bathroom. The bed was large, soft and comfortable. The pool is secluded and quiet but gets little sunlight, so not great for sunbathing. The breakfast options are good.

The cleanliness of the room was ok but the bedding was tired with stains and rips in. The outside bathroom is traditional but very hard to clean and something to get use to especially at night. We had a gecko living in the roof that would come out at night and frighten the wife. The staff are good but the service was sometimes a bit hit and miss. As was the food from the kitchen.

A beautiful, calm oasis very close to the heart of the action, and walkable for the sunset spot too. I really liked the garden room with the outdoor shower which was amazing. The towels, linens and pillows were excellent. The pool area was lovely and restful. The breakfast was really good and had an excellent range of choices. The loungers and the view from the loungers is EXCEPTIONAL. Honestly, I couldn’t believe the view. It’s stunning.

The resort room was next to a noisy generator which had a constant low/moderate level of noise. The resort room had nowhere to dry anything like swimwear or towels. The breakfast and lunch service was very slow, so you’ll need to allow a lot of time for this. One personal dislike… be prepared, you need to really like reggae versions of pop songs like Ed Sheeran or Adele. This reggae/pop plays constantly and loudly in the restaurant and on the beach. It drove me mad but others might like it. There’s no music around the pool so you can always head there!

As soon as we walked into our rooms, we were amazed at how beautiful, comfortable and relaxing it felt. Hands down the best shower I have ever had. The Scallywags products were luxurious and the outdoor bathroom felt like I was in my own slice of heaven. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choices for breakfast (not huge though) and the restaurant on the beach was reasonably priced. Although we were easy walking distance to the islands nightlife, the rooms were very quiet. From what we were expecting on the island, and the price we paid, we were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.

The upstairs restaurant could do with some more fans as it was a bit hot sitting up there. Great view and great food though.

Perfect location- close to the party area if you fancy a night out but also ideal spot to explore quiet part of the island. An actual beachfront location. Decent free breakfast served by the beach every morning and good food options on the general menu if you fancy a dinner by the sea. Strong, good quality cocktails which isn’t a usual in Indonesia. We had a a garden room and it was lovely- cool bathroom, room very clean, beds are comfortable and it comes all the necessary things- shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bath ropes and deposit box. The only down part was lack of direct sunlight in the room but guess that is up to personal preferences. Staff really easy going and friendly. Will definitely come back!
