A relaxing and elegant place. The setting is peacefull and well maintained The spacious rooms with big balcony, may require some upgrading. Plenty of bottled water added every morning. We appreciated the courtesy and kindness of all the staff. A special thanks to Rafik who accompanied us to Ellora and Ajanta. He is an attentive and prudent driver and has always behaved professionally and discreetly but with a friendly and patient attitude.

During the first night too much noise through door connnecting adjiacent room. Next morning after our complain they promptly changed us the room. Greater availability of late check out would be appreciated.

Thr booking screen of Booking.com takes one request but booking confirmation from Hotel is completely different. Had it not been the helpful staff at Taj and my prior experience with such situations, wherein I shared the actual screenshots of the error in Booking.com platform, my complete stay would have been ruined. Happy to share more details, if you guys are interested but I owe to the staff at hotel for their courtesy and generosity for resolving the situation.

The booking platform. It took a request for 3 adults and 1 child in one room, but booked a room which could accommodate only 2 adults and a child. It was Taj's customer service only that they resolved situation. Booking.com needs to improve it's platform

I liked the food, the courtesy of the staff across check-in, housekeeping, chef, servers. They are trained exceptionally well. They are mindful of the guests' needs. I told the staff that I have traveled to quite a few places and stayed at similar properties. However, the experience at Vivanta, By Taj was outstanding.

I am unable to find what I didn't like... The early check in was a challenge. However, I can't blame the property for that. The flights to Chh. Sambhaji Nagar land early morning. Customers need to wait at the reception. If early check-in is available, it would be great.

Breakfast spread was excellent. Dinner buffet was superb too. All items were changed to suit different palates. Staff was superb and courteous and very helpful. Rooms were well ventilated and quite large. Biggest surprise was the swimming pool. Length was 25 meters but width was also very long. Lovely to swim. All staff was superb . Special mention must be made of Sainath, the Chef, Ambadas, Vikram and Sheetal in restaurant where we spent maximum time for two tasty meals. All in all a wonderful experience.

Everyone this property is very nice and gives you a comfortable and a secure feeling. Special mention on Razik who was assigned to drive me to Ajantha caves. He took really good care of us and even helped us in finding good places to shop. The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful and the property is very serene and would recommend any day for people to stay .

One thing which I would complain about is there was no facility to get my car washed . I had driven down from Bangalore and was going towards Pune if there was a provision to get the car washed in the hotel it would have been good

Charming 20th century heritage architecture and ambiance. Gracious service at the front desk, in the restaurants and at breakfast…they efficiently arranged a hotel car to the airport on very short notice when my taxi didn’t show up. My room was spotlessly clean, and the friendly housekeeping staff came by in late afternoon each day to tidy up. Hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and the swimming pool is gorgeous and pristine. Traditional dancing is performed nightly at the outdoor barbecue. This is a very comfortable hotel.

The food served in the Indian/western restaurant was average for a hotel in this class, and the Chinese restaurant was subpar. Terrible exchange rate if you need to change money. Swimming pool was largely unattended with virtually nonexistent drink service. While the hotel is generally in good shape, it could use some freshening.

The room was spacious and had all the necessary features to make for a comfortable stay. However, the most outstanding feature was the friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. chef Sainath and his team were particularly superb - the food was excellent and he went out of his way to make each meal memorable

The air freshener was a little overpowering. The rooms and corridors also looked a little run down. A Nespresso machine would be nice for the premium rooms.

Food and service at the restaurant was very good! The Maharashtrian meals prepared so thoughtfully for us were excellent! The car and driver provided for our trips to Ajanta & Ellora were very good. Our driver was extremely friendly, respectfully and ver yknowledgeable about local facts that he pointed out as we drove.

Property should provide multiple USB charging ports in each room. Air-conditioning was good, but there was some leakage through the doors so the room was stayed slightly humid Napkins at the restaurant should be softer - they felt like sandpaper!

Hotel has very serene and peaceful surroundings. It gives an impression of living in a forest. Very spacious rooms. As such,the entire hotel is very old & traditional. I was told that the property is 30 ysars old. I guess, it has never been renovated as the decor and furniture of room gives a geel of living in an old haveli.. As such, everything is well maintained. Property is old & traditional but not run down or wornout. Actually this hotel is meant for vacationers and travellers to famous Ajanta Ellora caves. The hotel gives an impression of staying in a heritage property, which syncs with Caves, which are 2500 years old.It is not meant for business travellers.

We had Buffet Dinner in restaurant Latitude. One of the most horrible food I had ever taken in any Taj group property. Breakfast was also just average & not synced with brand Taj Vivanta

We were travelling from Shirdi with an infant and needed to wind down for day or two. Vivanta Aurangabad was the perfect location for us to wind down and relax before catching our flight back home. Excellent and helpful staff at the property who were more than willing to make our stay a wonderful one. I was working remotely as well and had a small issue connecting to the wifi. Furquan the onsite techie was very proactive and solved my issue fast, which allowed me to do my work without hassles. Shout out to Furquan. Very friendly and responsive guy. Family had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Will definitely recommend.
