ibis New Delhi Aerocity - An AccorHotels Brand

Ibis Hotel is a paragon of Aerocity, a luxurious gated resort community for travellers who appreciate the finer things in life. In Aerocity, one can walk around the entire area feeling safe at all times, and with many marvellous works of architecture to see and restaurant to dine at. The security measures that Aerocity puts in place are indispensable in making you feel that you are truly in an isolated bubble of friendly and welcoming locals, and like-minded, happy tourists. The staff at Ibis hotel treated me with total respect and unlimited hospitality. They helped me expertly with every query I had. The room was immaculate and the view of Aerocity interior juxtaposed with the busy life of the local construction companies outside of the tourist area was a picturesque one. The amenities were excellent, the WiFi was fast, and the staff were immensely knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn’t have had a better stay! Thank you.

I can’t name a single thing I didn’t like!

1.) Ashish was fantastic while providing us help with the room. 2.) All the basic facilities were there (dental kit, hair dryer, tea kettle, water, tea bags, towel, shampoo). 3.) Room was neat and clean. 4.) Location of hotel is hardly 10 min walking from metro station. Also distance between Airport and Aerocity is hardly 5 min by metro.

Although I would like to point out a few things where improvement could be made. 1.) Space of the room (Room space for 2 people was very less in the price they offered us.) 2.) Before checking in we made several calls but all our calls went unanswered. 3.) Breakfast and Lunch seemed to be at exorbitant price considering Ibis being 3-star hotel. Although there were variety in their buffet. 4.) Knowledge regarding local Delhi area was less with concerned person at the desk.

Word known brand Ibis offers expected standard, although it is much lower comparing to Europe but still for India AMAZING!!! India is extremely difficult destination, tiring, noisy, dirty, dangerous, you are expose to scam every minute, this is destination only for very skilled tourists and in this incredible madness IBIS in AreoCity is a sanctuary of peace, security and cleanliness. Recommended 1000% Great location, clean, save, quiet (a break from the incessant horns), no people constantly soliciting, finally feel like you're in a civilized place, metro station around the corner. The ONLY choice for staying in New Delhi!

rooms could be bigger, but for 1 night acceptable

I liked almost everything (esp. after leaving another disappointing property that I booked ahead but found unacceptable). It is your usual mid-range Ibis accommodations in the room but there was a fabulous restaurant in the building, room service and a wonderful Ibis bed. The plastic shower/bathroom is dated and could use some good scrubbing where the seams in the shower are but otherwise clean and functional. Staff was pleasant and efficient. There was a mini-fridge in the closet! Wish I knew that before I had dinner and left uneaten food behind:-). First Ibis I've stayed in with a fridge!

The soap pump in the shower didn't work. The shuttle price is 900 to get back to airport but an uber is less than 200 rupees and was prompt to arrive, with drop off curbside in front of the correct terminal. That's certainly taking advantage of the customer. There is a scanner to put your bags through before you can enter the hotel; huh? The room was cold but they brought a space heater since the thermostat could not be adjusted. By Indian standards, the restaurant is expensive but it really is good and I had a lovely paneer dish with Naan bread (for 847 rupees)...so still good by Euro standards. I dont eat much but the buffet was amazing with endless choices. I didn't experience the breakfast buffet but I imagine it was more than complete: 1500 rupees.

Hotel in an excellent location, the staff is kind and pleasant and everything is clean. The pool is fun and very clean and there are lots of sitting areas, we took half board and every morning and evening the buffet changed for the better, very tasty food and rich in styles. Very good value for the price, location in an area that is pleasant to walk around even in the evening, lots of bars and restaurants necessary for a hotel, meals until late and checkout. There are disabled workers here and it is amazing that they are given jobs with dignity.

Rooms are a bit small, but for a single person it doesn't bother

The hotel is located very close to the airport and therefore perfect for arrival and departure in India . An airport transfer is easily organised by the hotel. The rooms were of a decent size with a comfortable bed. Everything was clean. There was a safe in the room. The Pool was nice and clean. The employees were very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to use the pool and the lobby area for the whole day even though we already checked out in the morning. The Aerocity is a nice area with Lots of Restaurants and malls.

The A/C Was really slow to adjust the Temperature. Therefore it was very cold in the room. The breakfast is very expensive.

A good impression starts with the service at reception: though there was some waiting time, Ankur at reception did his best to complete the procedures (admit a bit long), giving us precious tips on the way and always with a smile. A plus point also goes to the restaurant, especially the buffet breakfast which was very nice and has a full variety of food (from local/indian to continental and in my option for all tastes). A special word of thanks to the room service guy, Arjun K., who did an excellent job maintaining the room clean and spotless and assisted us in all possible ways he could. Interesting location: both from the point of view of closeness to airport and accessibiilty of transport (taxis, uber pickups, metro, etc..) + safe area and close to a small shopping complex with a good variety of restaurants and fast foods in the food court.

The front office team was incredibly efficient. Checked me in within a couple of minutes. The room was ready immediately upon arrival. It was clean and well-organised. The room atmosphere was quiet and calming when I entered after a busy day in Delhi. I had one of the best nights of sleep here.

I stayed here on two separate occasions. both times the bed linen appeared not clean. They weren't too visibly dirty but surely didn't look like it was changed after its previous occupant. I am not a picky traveller, I usually stay at BnB's but at a five-star establishment, this is a no-brainer. I must receive what I pay for. However, with one phone call, the bed was changed with new sheets and pillowcases and the problem was solved.

The staff was exceptional! Very professional and attentive. The check in was easy and we had the option of smoking and non smoking rooms. The area for food and drinks in the lobby is a little basic but does what it needs to do and the food is actually really good! Breakfast spread was more than sufficient and I highly recommend just eating at the hotel. There is an outside area for smoking and you can sit and drink there too. The pool looks like in the picture but I couldn't use it due to time constrains.

The carpets are a little outdated and also the interior of the room could be uplifted. Overall the hotel does what it needs to do and everything is working

Had low expectations due to the booking.com rating, but I just needed one night close to airport prior to international flight. The check in receptionist was pretty unfriendly, but after that everything far exceeded expectations. This is a huge, lively hotel with big groups of flight crews, business people, NGO types, and has the vibe of a mid level Disney hotel, with huge lobby restaurant, many public spaces, patio lounges, outdoor seating to watch sports broadcasts, etc. Room was smartly arranged and clean. Nice Starbucks just across the street. You are kind of in a bubble staying in Aerocity, very safe, security is tight, and it's easy to get an Uber to the airport or into town to sight see or shop in the "real world." Will definitely stay here on future trips post and pre my long long flights. Because of the reviews, I didn't book with breakfast but wish I had, as paying a la carte was expensive, though food options were quite good.
