Astoria Hotels Madurai

Bfast and Lunch was tasty and served hot . Polite , helpful waiters / manager . Location is excellent to visit Meenakshi temple close , yet away from crowded lanes and market . Easy available of autos . Well lit corridor and lot of windows giving natural light .

Bathroom was not good . Bath area gets wet and slippery , risky for seniors. need Shower curtain / better lighting . No space for keeping toileteries .

So close to airport and Meenakshi temple it took us only 5mins to reach the south gate of the temple on Auto rickshaw. Staff were so helpful and best customer service. This is the best property in Madurai if you going for holiday or visit temple or for business trip.

Underground parking is limited but there is ample parking space right in front of the hotel.

Rooms are good. View was excellent from the room. Bed was very comfortable. It was located at center of city. Near Railway station.

Need some cleanness

Big room and location , good staff and helpful. Lifts were clean and fast . Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom need to be improved a lot . Floor looks filthy , need to change tiles , shower need to replaced , no tooth paste and brush was provided ,no toiletries which can be used , except soap and shampoo solution .

Overall

The smoking zone on every floor in front of the lift entrance, felt bad and uncomfortable for other guests, also that bad smell travels all around the corridor. I suggest management to take necessary action to shift the smoking zone in some other place, this was my second visit to this hotel but no changes, This is just my opinion only.

The staff demonstrated great hospitality. They are professional and customer friendly. The dining was also great. Love the pongal, Gobi 65 and Veg Kadai, they have. I appreciate their dedication, to achieve customer satisfaction. It's been an overall pleasant experience at Astoria Hotels.

The location of the hotel was approachable, clearly marked on the map & on the highway. No need to go inside lanes for reaching the hotel. Ambiance of the restaurant was good. The food was also nice & served hot. Adequate varieties in menu for buffet breakfast in adequate quantity. well managed hotel with nice & helping staff.

Mosquito problem. Parking space was limited. could have improved on it. Though the hotel was prompt to get me parking space.

Great hospitality... Nice food in the in-house restaurant... Great location with auto stand.

Toilets floor/walls need for extra care in terms of cleanliness... Need extra hygiene measures in the restaurant area...

The staff at the restaurant were so attentive and made sure the food we requested for was up to our taste requirements.

The air conditioning in the restaurant and even the rooms could be better. We had to turn on the fan in the rooms

Very modern, efficient and welcoming hotel. Fitted our requirements exactly especially as we arrived at 1am and that was no trouble at all.

Nothing to complain about at all.
