The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, the room interiors were beautifully designed, and the view from the hotel was stunning. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Overall, it was a fair experience.

I must admit there were a few aspects of my stay that were disappointing. The room service was rather poor; even for small orders, it took an unnecessarily long time to deliver, and I had to call the in-room services multiple times. Additionally, during my stay, there was a period of around 30 minutes of complete power outage. Not only were the lifts inaccessible during this time, but tap water was also unavailable in the washroom.

From the security team to the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurants, we received exceptional hospitality everywhere. I would especially like to thank Deepak and Temsula from 3132 Bar, and Rinki and the rest of the staff from Seasonal Tastes (10th Floor) for making our dining experiences so wonderful and memorable. We look forward to revisiting soon.

Although very unusual, on 22.02.2024, there was a power outage, and unfortunately, the backup system did not activate for approximately 40 minutes. Despite this minor issue, everything else was excellent.

Firstly Room View, Akash from front office was excellent, he given 28th floor room to us, we came for celebration got a cake and also we ask for late check out that also done by Mr. Akash..

We are very regular to your property, mainly we have a dinner and Breakfast meal package in restaurant. We forget to wake up in morning at proper time so that we ask to IRD to give us some Breakfast to room, IRD order taker strictly said NO. Then we call Duty manager and inform the same also requested that this is our 1st time that we miss our breakfast kindly arrange some breakfast in room, DM also the same category like junior staffs also said NO to us, All over in India we stayed in various 5star property this is first time we hear that duty manager said NO. We ask for very tiny request which was not done by DM.. atleast he should to approach us some toast and tea or coffee. Very disappointed

First of all, location wise, it is great as it has various Places of Interest around it in short distances. The quality of rooms and the cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing of the rooms was very good and it enabled a good sleep. The staff was courteous and was extremely helpful. The check-in and check-out procedures were hassle free. I would like to specially mention the wonderful service provided by Ms. Riya and also the Jr Sous Chef Mr Pranab Banerjee during our breakfast. They offered us various delicacies and also took effort to explain about the food in between. The fusion food introduced to us by the Chef were just outstanding. I am looking forward to more stays at Westin to enjoy the hospitality again. Would surely recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a good place to rest and have good food.

My stay at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel’s elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff ( Specially the Restaurant Manager Asfak Ansari and Incharge of Chef the girl, The Housekeeping staffs, Som ) catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. With its convenient location and outstanding service, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat has quickly become my go-to choice for accommodations whenever I travel to the area. 5 star. About The Reception Girl who checkin me for the first time. Please make the guest feel welcome. Don't make them feel uncomfortable. And the staffs who are in reception area Please give a smile to guest so they feel comfortable. For sure I will visit again to the hotel for the staffs in restaurants. Thank you so much for the suprise on my b day.

The staff from reception make me feel really uncomfortable while check in. And Checkout time infront of the Guest speaking slowly on the calls and call guest "Bandha" felt very bad. So make it good overall everything was perfect.

Overall the hotel offered a pleasant stay over the weekend. I had visited for a staycation with family. Checkin was fairly smooth. The hotel offers great views of Eco Park in Rajarhat Newtown. The staff was polite and quick to respond to our needs.

There is not much to do outside the hotel itself. If you're on a business trip, I guess it's fine. However there is no greenery and not much outdoors apart from a swimming pool. If you're with your family, the kids will definitely get bored. The location is great if you want something near the airport.

Stayed at Westin to celebrate Birthday with close friends. The hotel has it all, a mural of Goddess Durga in the lobby atrium, wide variety of food, clean and spacious room, calm and comfortable lounge, gorgeous swimming pool & furnishings. The view from 24th Floor is spectacular, and the most amazing thing is the luxurious bathroom, you can enjoy your shower looking at the beautiful view (the most romantic place in the city). Front office has brilliant service and staff, I felt absolutely nothing that I can complain about. We felt so comfortable, and I highly recommend staying at Westin.

In summary well maintained, prompt service, excellent view, well trained staff eager to help, Food spread was good covering both Indian and international cuisine which is the need and what most hotels overlook, concentrating on only one. Very clean and well maintained despite its size. View from 27th floor was great. Appreciate the special things like room upgrade they arranged for me and my family. Definitely would like to revisit along with other Marriot properties. Well done to the team!

Check in procedure personnel friendly. Level 10 Restaurant very good, huge breakfast buffet. Excellent craft beer Caldera. Rooms large, comfortable. Open-air bar at level 32, beautiful, reasonable prices. Location: only 9km from airport, 25 min., 350 Rs by Uber.

Japanese restaurant level 31: beautiful interior but food below average. Extremely overpriced sake!!!!!! 1300 Rs for 30ml.

Our stay was quite comfortable. Every staff member was courteous and polite. We had dinner and breakfast during our stay. I would like to give a special mention to Chef Shriya and Chef Ashmita who went the extra mile and took care of our needs of the palate and sent amazing recommendations our way. They put up a wonderful gesture of bidding adieu to us with a delicious chocolate pastry! I would rate them both 20 out of 10. :) Both my partner and I loved the way they made us feel special and we hope to visit again soon to be welcomed and treated the same way! ❤️

The temperature in the room could not be brought down to one which would provide enough comfort. Overnight, it felt a little uncomfortable. Just something to look into. But, otherwise it was an amazing stay :)
