Holiday Inn Jaipur City Centre, an IHG Hotel

1. Excellent initial impression with a smooth check-in process. 2. Spacious and clean suite with views over the city. 3. Complimentary bottles of branded Hilton water. 4. Great breakfast included in the half-board package. 5. Accommodating staff throughout the stay. 6. Convenient location of the hotel.

1. Lack of a manual for operating amenities and city information in the suite. 2. Limited English-speaking channels on the TV, the absence of BBC World News. 3. Lunch or dinner options restricted to an Indian buffet for half-board package guests. 4. Faulty air conditioning in the bedroom on the final day. 5. Billing error for the airport car, later resolved after clarification. 6. Charges for items not used from the minibar, though resolved during the check-out process.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Special mention for Sparsh (who undoubtedly makes the best Negroni), Priye, the other bar trainees, Nathuram (in Housekeeping who diligently ensured that my room was kept spic and span). Food at Chao on the first day was very good (the steamed fish, the Peking fried rice and the Manchow soup ... all excellent). The breakfast spread is also very good.

The staff at breakfast are very polite and nice. However, they lack training for proactive and pre-emptive customer service. The selection and quality of fruits at breakfast need improvement. The food at Chao on the second day was not good at all. The spice levels were unjustifiably and abnormally high making the food impossible to eat. The Hot and Sour soup had rough kernels of pepper tempered through and the consistency was very watery. The noodles were just insanely spicy with no flavour. Lastly, the bakery items are truly inedible. The baked cheesecake was like eating dry plaster. Just awful. I think the bakery needs drastic improvement.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. We were impressed with the warm and welcoming staff from the moment we arrived, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The check-in process was quick and easy, and our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. We were thrilled with the amenities offered by the hotel, including the pool, fitness center, and on-site restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant, we have to give a special shout-out to the kitchen staff for their exceptional effort to accommodate my wife's gluten-free diet. Chef Nitesh, personally came out to discuss the menu with us and made excellent suggestions that my wife thoroughly enjoyed. The staff (Sparsh and his team) also went out of their way to ensure that her food was prepared separately and without any cross-contamination. We appreciate the extra care and attention they took to make sure my wife had a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The pool area was clean and inviting, and the fitness center had everything we needed for a great workout. Overall, we can't say enough positive things about our stay at this hotel. The staff, amenities, and accommodations were all top-notch, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

The location is very good.

The hotel did double charge to my credit card. When we called to the hotel, nobody took a response for it. We had to drive back to the hotel to explain and it took long time. The hotel staff should know that we already paid and they should not double charge to our credit card. When they did a mistake, they should correct it immediately.

We originally booked a hotel in the centre of Jaipur which didn’t meet our expectations - we were so relieved to check into our beautiful room at the Holiday Inn. The front-of-house staff were so so attentive and helpful. Our transport wasn’t due to arrive for several hours after checkout but the hotel staff graciously let us use our room a bit longer while we waited. much appreciated. The food in the restaurants was great, the buffet breakfast was excellent. Complimentary bottled water in the gym is a great touch.

The pool - as soon as the lift opens, it smells like a pigeon coop. There are pigeons literally drinking the pool water and there is pigeon excrement all over the rooftop. Pigeons carry 60 different types of diseases so there was no way I was going near the pool. This really needs looking into. The Gym needs to be bigger. The restaurant staff could be more attentive/responsive. Also, training them to understand/be able to pronounce all the items on the menu would really make it easier when ordering. Hot drinks were not forthcoming, we had to find someone to provide them. A tea urn would have been perfect.

Close to city centre and railway juction, comfortable rooms, generally friendly staff

Not a good idea to have Venetian blinds to separate the room from bathroom as there some peekability, Bakery products in breakfast like donuts, croissant, etc. were stale, Swimming pool was good looking but full of pigeon poop floating rendering it useless.

Location was good. Rooms were clean, food was good too. My car got hit accidentally by a valet. I went back to the hotel to inform them and Mr. Rakesh checked the footage and confirmed it was their fault. So they reimbursed me for the damages even though I got my car repaired a few weeks after the incident.

Nothing to dislike as such.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were greeted by the Manager ‘Sachin’ who was really helpful throughout our 8 days stay at Holiday Inn. The room was cozy and all amenities were top notch. We were fortunate enough to cover all attractions in 2 days with the help of the hotel chauffeur (Arjun) and the tour guide (Farook). It was a lovely experience for us. We look forward to visiting the Holiday Inn Jaipur again soon.

Breakfast selection was great everything you could possibly want and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Location of property is excellent and also right next to shopping mall with decent selection of stores to browse. Room was very spacious and comfortable, large amount of complimentary water was great added bonus. Shower was very enjoyable and powerful and the bed was also very comfortable and large.

Inspite of a complaint , they could not fix the air-conditioning in the room, the room was freezing cold, stayed at 18 deg and refused to switch off, however on the check out they offered an apology and a 25% discount on the room rates.
