ibis Styles Budapest Airport

A comfortable airport based hotel situated just 350m from the airport terminal building along a flat covered walkway. Despite being close to the airport we did not hear any aircraft due to the high level of sound insulation. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The room was a decent size and the shower room was spacious and modern. The room was immaculately clean. Restaurant facilities were available and had many customers but the menu was not to our preference so we just bought some sandwiches at a shop in the terminal building while we worked out our departure route the evening before our flight. The staff at reception speak English and were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and sufficient. We enjoyed the breakfast. All of the tables were cleared as soon as they became vacant as there were plenty of staff in attendance. They have a waffle making machine for guests to cook their own fresh waffles... we never tried it but we will do if we revisit this hotel... looked tasty with the maple syrup provided. The safe in the room was a good size... I always feel more relaxed when my valuables are safely secured. Check out was until 12 noon which is a generously late time... much better than having to depart early when you have an early afternoon flight booked.

I would have liked a small fridge to keep drinks cool. Not a problem for just a single night's stay before a flight but would be appreciated for longer stays. Realistically most guests will only stay overnight.

Ibis is a clean, comfortable & quiet hotel. Similar to 'Premier Inn' but with breakfast included in the price. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a short stay including hand & shower gel, hairdryer etc. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of hot and cold food. Everything you can think of is laid out, it was short of nothing. Breakfast is served from 4am until 10am so even if you have an early morning flight you can eat before you go. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the terminal which for us landing after 11pm was a god send

Hotel is very pricey but I guess that is because of the location. The room was a little dark, brighter lighting would be good.

The hotel is in a great and convenient location right at the airport (3 mins walk), the room was comfortable and the staff was very attentive, responsive and kind.

There is a construction going now for another hotel right next door, and the workers started very noisy work at 7 AM that was not very welcome considering I had a late flight coming in. But the staff were very responsive to my complaint and they talked to the construction company to adhere to the agreed morning start time of the building work. The duvet was very thin and a bit on the cold side for me considering it was very cold outside (-5 C during the day). I think the hotel needs to lower the room rate for the time the construction is ongoing next door. I was trying to work from the hotel during the day but the noise was very distracting and bothering me (and other people on my conference calls).

The best part of this hotel is its location (it is only a 3 min walk to the terminal). The hotel is modern and the rooms are clean. The Wi-Fi was decent, but not great. I really like the fact that they offer an “early bird” breakfast (starting at 04h00) for people who have early morning flights. All the staff were friendly and professional. I will surely consider this hotel again in the future.

This might sound bizarre…but the shower inside our room was very slippery. My wife had a bad fall and injured her ribs and hip…which made our 12-hour flight back to Singapore the next day very challenging. Maybe management can put some kind of rug/mat inside the showers and avoid these kinds of accidents in future.

Excellent location and walking distance from the main international airport. I chose this hotel mainly for its location and have no regrets. I also enjoyed their lovely breakfast and service. I will gladly return to this hotel in the future.

Nothing to write about!

Obviously the hotel was really convenient for the airport being just a 2-3 minutes walk from the Ibis front door to the terminal (down a rather rickety covered footpath). Also you can get to the airport on the airport bus from the city which means you save on not having to get a taxi. The room was really large, very comfortable, modern and very quiet so it was a great night's sleep. The reception staff all seemed very cheerful and helpful.

You could only book rooms with breakfast included which is rather unfair since our flight (and I'm sure several others) left at 5am so it was well before breakfast was served. We did book a takeaway breakfast from the receptionist but it was rubbish.

The breakfast was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location cannot be beat if you are travelling in/out of Ferenc Liszt (BUD) Airport. I did get my wake-up call, on time (in fact, just a little early -- which was good!). The hotel is also adjacent to the rental car lot, which was a bonus for me. It's a good choice if you're coming in late or going out early (the latter of which was me).

The room had a dormlike feel to it, and the furnishings were not as comfortable as I would have wished. My evening meal, which I purchased a la carte (it's not included in the price), was overpriced.

The hotel is located in a close proximity to the Budapest International Airport, which makes it very convenient for a transit stay. The hotel is clean, the rooms are quite small, the junior suites are larger but I would recommend you to stay in the suite especially when a couple is traveling. The windows of the suites and rooms are completely soundproof and you do not hear any noise, even if a suite or room is overlooking gates and the runway of the airport. The hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel with a decent food and the bar.

Comfortable beds, modern clean bathroom, large desk with 2 chairs suitable for working remote in case it is needed. Very very good breakfast, best of all the ibis I ve stayed in. Very close to termjnal, 5 mim walk. Also very close to holiday parking if you find a parking spot close to the end (holiday parking is very big, but some spots are really close to the hotel, 1 min walk. They let us in the hotel parking to unpack and allowed to exit free of charge within 15 minutes. Very good noise c

Air conditioning was harder to set to warm in the summer, probably not working. It was very cold during the day we stayed, very unusual for august, but the blankets were warm and nice.

The hotel is incredibly close to the airport - it took me less than 5 minutes to walk from the reception to the departures lounge, and yet, you would not know it as the hotel's soundproofing is excellent! The staff are very courteous and friendly and breakfast is available from 4am, which is a real bonus for those of us who need to get to the airport early (the staff offered to pre-pack some sandwiches too, which is a really nice touch!). The rooms were comfortable and smart, and the food is good
