City Partner Hotel Strauss

Great location, right in the heart of the old city and only 2 stops from the train station with the tram stopping outside the hotel door. Had some beautiful authentic German food on our first night in Christian's restaurant, it is absolutely top notch. Lovely breakfast each day with a wide variety on offer. Air con in the room was really needed as the daytime temp was in 30s every day of our stay. Would stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Couldn't really fault it.

We only stayed at this hotel one night, but it was a good stay! Its conveniently located right downtown, you can easily walk to the a lot of sites and a variety of restaurants. I would recommend checking out the Court Gardens behind the Würzburg Residence, getting a glass of wine on the Old Main Bridge and watching the sunset, then having dinner at Backöfele. You can walk to so many places from the hotel! There's also a tram stop right across the street from the hotel. Our hotel room was medium size and had a modern bathroom. The bed was comfy and the AC worked really well. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. You can buy some alcohol and snacks in the lobby, which was convenient. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel parking was a little confusing, you can park on the street or at the garage in the building next door. We couldn't find the garage and ended up parking on a random street behind the hotel.

A great location in the beautiful city of Würzburg, walking distance from the UNESCO heritage Residenz Platz, old town and shops and restaurants. Some parking outside on a first come first served basis - otherwise there are several nearby car parks. As with most towns, parking with a tall vehicle can be difficult so we were fortunate in being able to park directly outside. Nice, well kept, friendly hotel with a really good breakfast buffet. Clean, comfortable and pleasant bedrooms and helpful and friendly staff.

Staffs are nice and helpful. Location is great, few minutes walk to many attractions. Parking garage was under the building right next to the hotel. You can get stamp for parking fee discount from hotel reception.

The entrance of parking place was not easy to find at the first place (Google map did not lead us the right way). Wifi signal is fair but not that good.

Location is very good, the underground public parking is practically at the same place. The breakfast was very good, too. Nice staff, rapid check in and check out.

The AC system in the room was very noisy, no AC in the corridors, overheated premisses. The the 2 beds room was in front of a service entrance and it was noisy in the mornings.

Decent sized room with extra heater in bathroom. Lovely welcome from reception staff who were all very helpful. Reasonable distance to the town. Excellent restaurant with knowledgeable staff although Google translate was useful. Even though they were very busy with local Christmas parties they offered to translate and explain the menus. Discounted parking in multistorey nearby.

The room is spacious and enough for two people to stay. The mattress is slightly too soft if you need more support of your back during sleep. The breakfast is delicious, but the options are not a lot, especially at the vegetable side.

The wall is kind of thin and somehow the guests next door were laughing really loud in the middle of the night, which was pretty disturbing and definitely a huge minus point.

Friendly staff, i arrived late but all was ok. Hotel is 7 min from central train station near the river. Nice location. The room was good, bathroom also. I rested very well, confy bed. Din not stay for breakfast

There was nothing more to need from the Hotel. For me it was just overnight. I did not need, but as i saw, parking space might be an issue if you come by car.

Good location in downtown and within walking distance to most of the key attractions--Residence Palace and gardens, river, historic churches, shopping and restaurants. Visiting the Marienberg Fortress requires a drive. Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable with air conditioning! Parking was available on-site for my rental car, but very tight. Excellent restaurants a short walk away and a good breakfast on-site.

The hotel has a very strategic location between the historical city center of Würzburg and the train station. The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was super friendly. Plus, the restaurant of the hotel offers quite tasty meals.

The lift is a bit small, but that's just a tiny detail that did not affect our comfort to any extent. When the shower in the next room was being used, we could hear the water running.
