great location to centre of town and river walking to restaurants bars shops etc good safe underground parking decent sized room with nice balcony views of the city and outdoor furniture very comfy bed good air con fridge kettle etc nice terrace for drinks or dinner waiters were very attentive and helpful

dinner was a disappointment food was average at best starter was still frozen in places very little actual swordfish overall too expensive for what it was especially with so many options in town to go too breakfast not included

Breakfast was excellent

I had paid for my room via my Apple Pay & starling bank . However when it came to paying for my garage space the assistant would not do this via Apple pay and wanted the card I had made my reservation with which was different & meant I got bank a charge. She was very adamant and did not understand or seem to want to understand.

great hotel, on the edge of town overlooking the river Saar, parking directly underneath which is great, very short walk to restaurants by the river or in to town which is a much larger town than I realised. really good breakfast and rooms spotlessly clean, easy check out , free bottles of water and juice which isn't essential but still nice.

I was taking my own photo i.e. selfie at the foyer (in front of The Lady with Earings frame) when the 2 ladies/staff manning the counter/tables asked whether I was taking their photo without permission - do I look uncivilized just because I was wearing a headscarf?

Loved everything Friendly staff, great location, amazing breakfast selection, including freshly cooked bacon and eggs Great bar area in the evening including outside terrace. Our server on Sunday night was particularly friendly and engaging. We shared an interest in border collies !

Breakfast was decent. We do not ask for more.

We had two rooms and each room had a spider on the ceiling. Guess it's included in the price... Bad pillows, empty minibar, tiring colours for the furniture. Hotel was empty, but it didn't cross the mind of the receptionist to offer an upgrade to rooms with river view. Such a detail would bring you back next time.

As a business-oriented property, the internet, breakfast buffet, and accommodation are going to be commensurate with what you’d expect from a capital city (Landeshauptstadt). 24-hour reception. 5 minutes from train station without luggage.

Don’t expect “small town” treatment: this is not the place for cozy conversations in the hotel bar.

Rich breakfast, wide rooms, view to the river, friendly staff

cigarette burns on the carpets in the rooms. water leaks from the bath glass to the floor. room key cards stopped working and needed to be re-magnetised few times during the stay

The location was perfect. Breakfast was verry good. Nice and quiet so we could enjoy oure breakfast. Specialy that the dogs are welcom to was a verry big plus for us.

The pillows were verry soft but thats a little personal thing.

Everything was fine: the weather was not too cold, nor too hot.
