Hotel Lechnerhof Unterföhring

Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, contining a wide variety of European and American dishes. The staff was very helpful and kind.

I did not like that the elevator broke on our first day and stayed broken the 3 days of our stay. On the second day of our stay I had to take a freezing cold shower and wash my hair. There were notes in our room that evening along with complementory goodies, apologizing for the cold water and stating it was repaired. However on the third day when my husband went to shower he only had cold water. The water from the sink was hot so unsure what went wrong with the shower.

The location was ideal for proximity to the city via public transport, yet close to the motorway network for trips out. The breakfast was always fresh and substantial with ample choice each day. The age and character of the property was charming.

Hadn’t been made aware until checking in that there was a daily parking charge. The carpet felt dirty underfoot and we had to request that housekeeping gave it an extra vacuum. Also we found out upon checking out that we could have asked for a kettle in our room to make tea and coffee. This wasn’t clear upon booking.

Really nice well maintained hotel in a plush area. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, all mod cons in a traditional Bavarian style, nice beer on tap. gym, train station is five minutes away, nice breakfast you can eat in a pleasant garden if you wish. I stayed here for the Germany England game. Allianz arena is about an hours walk away. Im glad I opted for this instead of Munich centre. It is a lot better value. I didnt have a German socket charger and all the shops were shut as it was Whit bank holiday. The gentleman at reception saved the day and lent me one👍👍

This is the place to stay if you want to visit Munchen at a reasonable price. The place has no pretense. The rooms are spotless, everything functions to perfection,you can rest and soundly sleep since it is very quiet and last but not least breakfast is excellent. 15 minutes to Munchen by train. The station is 10 minutes away from the hotel. Highly recommended

This family run hotel has friendly and helpful staff, is in a great location close to the S Bahn, a wonderful breakfast buffet and is close to the walking and biking trails of English Garden Park. If you like to exercise, it is a scenic six mile walk from the hotel to Marienplatz. The property also has a lovely outdoor garden.

The location of this hotel for our business in München is ideal. For others I suppose it is much removed from town,. The personal were all extremely friendly and breakfast and service were very good. The rooms were modern and comfortable.

Charging an extra €10 for parking. There are also two large internet masts outside the window basically but this is our world now. Nothing the hotel could do about that

Friendly and relaxed staff. The family room was large, like an apartment with separate rooms. Easy parking. Breakfast was ok.

Nothing was bad really, only slight annoyances here and there but nothing worth mentioning. I would choose this location only if I’m traveling by car.

staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. Breakfast was delicious and had extended hours. Bus stop was nearby and some restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was a bit hard but not totally uncomfortable, but the single pillow was very lacking and the room was hot, even with the windows open all night.

Great hotel outside Munich in a quiet, green, leafy area near a river, canals and a lake. Staff were super helpful and the breakfast was outstanding! We had a lovely walk through parkland to a beer garden by a nearby lake.

It was a bit further from the centre of Munich than we thought and not near the station. There seemed to be many buses though.
