Munich Rooms Hotel

The room was comfortable and quiet and the bathroom was excellent. The owner/staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived late when there were no staff on duty but was sent good instructions on how to access the hotel and my room. About 10 min walk from the underground, nearer to the tram, but within an easy 30 or 40 min walk of the city centre, Olympic Park, English Gardens etc. Plenty of restaurants within a few mins walk and shops/cafes to pick up some breakfast.

The colour of the walls made the room a bit gloomy.

It's a cozy small hotel with comfortable sized and appointed rooms, en suite, on a quiet street a few blocks from the nearest U-bahn station. The front desk is not staffed most of the time, but there is an nice lobby with an honor system refrigerator full of water, beer and wine, and a free automated high-end coffee machine. There are plenty of bakeries and cafes nearby. It's a very walkable area.

There was no safe in the room.

Fabulous location and wonderful rooms with clever and unique interior design. Definitely not your normal bland hotel room! Communication was great, with questions answered quickly and with instructions for checkin and everything else clearly given in a timely manner. We travel frequently to Munich and plan to stay here going forward! Recommend it strongly and with no hesitation!

Staff and location

2nd night was a bit noisy as people in the apartment in the courtyard were talking loadly until 1.00 am. It was so hot but we could not open the window as people were smoking at the table outside the window and smoke came in the room. This was not the fault of the staff who were very polite, friendly and helpful

The pre-checkin process and then the actual checkin and check out was quick and comfortable. This was a really nice experience. The room was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable feeling. I loved the experience!

There was no airconditioning or fan to use. Opening the windows did not help, due to the humidity. It was not horrible, but it was extremely warm and difficult to sleep in that kind of heat.

Fantastic location only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and public transport. The foyer is immaculate and very stylishly decorated. There is a high quality coffee machine that you can use behind the reception desk - delicate coffee. The hotel owner, Selcuk, is there every day and makes you feel very welcome. The bedroom is very comfortable and stylish.

Perfect location and the owner was extremely nice and helpful in suggesting superb restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Highly recommended!

Everything was superb, but the beds might have been a bit more comfortable if anything.

Der Check-In was very uncomplicated. The room was very cosy and the bed comfortable. Self service for the drinks was very convenient. Everything was very clean.

There was no AC. The room was very hot and opening the window was also not an option, as the window was direct to the street. There was a very strong smell of room fragrances in the room.

I love coming back to Munich Rooms Hotel whenever I'm visiting Munich. The hotel is cosy and located in a great area. The staff is always fantastic; they are so accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very stylish and the host is very kind, very talkative. We feel very welcoming and heartwarming. There are fruits, tea/coffee provided everyday. Very considerate and responsive and efficient~! We definitely come back again when we visit Munich again~!
