Close to the harbor, dog-friendly (extra free per dog), free parking, super friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast included - all in all a very good deal for the price.

For a vegan the breakfast options were limited, but I did not ask for anything to be provided for me specifically - could be they could have organized something more than bread, jam and juice if I asked. Without air conditioning the room got very hot during the night and due to the nearby camping site there was some noise that meant sleeping with the window open wasn't a nice option.

The hotel exceeded expectations which were based on reviews. It is lovely hotel in a nice rural area, welcoming staff, clean room and comfy bed. We had a perfect sleep there and woke up with birds singing. Everything in the room was functioning properly. It was easy to find the hotel after arrival by ferry from Helsinki. There is a free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast had all standard items for a small hotel and a good coffee.

We didn’t manage to connect to the hotel WiFi.

Room was great, storage facility for bicycle was great. Breakfast was OK. Service for dinner was excruciatingly slow, and staff knowledge of English very poor. Since the dinner menu was very pretentious, and a large part of it based on raw herring ("matjes" - but this is not the same as what the Dutch or Swedes mean by "Matjes herring") using vague terms " blankety blank Pommern art" "Princess beans") and nobody could explain these terms either in simple German or English and did not volunteer any other language, it was very hard to know what your meal would consist of. Wake up calls were "impossible", which was important when the only reason for staying there was to catch the ferry to Sweden. Something else, I forget what, was also "unmoglich" - impossible", one of the two most dreaded words in the German language.

Service could have been way faster. Staff could have spent some effort on how to describe their menu in simpler German

A big room with one bed, wardrobe and a bathroom. A carpet on the floor makes it warmer and cosier. Enough light in the room, a big window and silence outside. The hotel is in the near of the harbour, that makes it an ideal place to stay overnight. You can take your pet with you.

Location near harbour makes it the perfect stopover before hitting the Autobahn.

No wifi anymore!?

Great location when coming from / to the ferry. Nice and swift check-in. Good location for walking the dogs. Nice breakfast.

It’s a short 5 min drive from Travemunde ferry terminal. Good one night stay - choice if your ferry arrives late, like ours. The rooms were very basic, but spotlessly clean.

Nice chalets, perfect for travelling with dogs. The restaurant is awesome. Great location just off the highway.

the owner was very friendly & hearty. the rooms where ok, the restaurant looked good, but was already closed when i came.

on a tuesday night after 8:30 there is nothing to eat in the area if you don't have a car :(

Staff were very helpful as we missed our connecting train and arrived late.
