Good central location in Kiel. Great parking spots right across from the hotel (Exerzierplatz), unless it is market day. The place is clean.

The elevators are very slow. We constantly had to take the stairs, because we had to wait way too long for the elevators. Doesn't matter that much, when you stay on one of the lower levels, but very anoying if you are higher up. Often very busy during breakfast and the hotel doesn't seem to be staffed or equipped for such a demand. Especially in summer when a lot of cruise ships are leaving from Kiel. Rooms are fairly small.

Reception Staff were exceedingly accommodating and cordial...not to mention, PATIENT, with me, what with my "cognitive decline" (I continuously needed assistance with using my key card), but everyone in Reception just smiled or chatted amiably with me, so I wouldn't be embarrassed. Also, the extraordinary view from my 10th story window was breathtaking(!), and worthy of many photos. The whole facility (entire hotel) was so nicely appointed and impeccably well-kept, it gave me the impression that it was a brand new! Additionally, the bedding in my room (mattress and pillows) was the most delightfully comfortable of any bedding, in any lodging, on land or sea, upon which I have ever slept! Bravo! and Kudos! to this most marvelous of hotels and most congenial of Personnel!

I found all aspects of my stay simply delightful!

Room was clean and breakfast included in the rate. The location is good, close to the center and within a walkable distance to train station and cruise pier. Also the room had a decent view and was really silent. Breakfast was average, but there were a couple of waffles machine, my son loved them!

The room are somehow small and in the bathroom we missed where to put the toothbrush. There are only 2 elevators and during peak times you can wait quite a lot, especially if you cannot use the stairs to climb to the higher floors. The staff at the reception is ok, some are nice some are just not really helpful. Breakfast could be improved.

The room was very clean and comfortable, there was everything needed in there. The breakfast was very good. We could leave our luggage in the luggage room before the check in time. The hotel is in a walking distance from the city center, stores, restaurants.

There is no parking that belongs to the hotel; in the days of our visit there was the Kieler Woche of which we were not aware, so all parkings nearby were fully packed, and we spent a lot of time and got some stress while waiting for a free spot. Also, we could not re-book the room from 2 to 3 persons although there were available rooms. The booking addressed the questions to the hotel, and the hotel employees said they can not change the reservations done via booking. Here some flexibility would help a lot.

Great location and rooms, fresh new.

There was no option to open the window in our room. The elevators tend to be very busy in the mornings, so we were used to go by stairs, that are not connected with your zero floor. So you would need to make half of a circle to enter the building 🙃 Personal ran out of supplies for breakfast, so almost nothing was served after 10am, (great we came 20 minites earlier) although the official breakfast is till 11am. The dining area is not compatible to fulfill the crowds of people on the breakfast, with such a small room.

The breakfast was excellent, however it was so crowded and popular that the staff had to work hard to keep the buffet stocked.

The elevators are too small compared to what we are used to in America, and there was always a line of people waiting. We were happy to be on the next level of the hotel and used the stairs throughout our stay including when checking out. We caried our luggage down the stairs. The cost of the parking garage was too high, but we used it for convenience.

Breakfast Excellent. Excellent Value. I paid in full while there but I have asked them to forward me two separate receipts. One to include accomodation and food. The other to include beverages as I need to submit separately to my company. I am waiting to receive. I hope to stay there evey three months due to work comitments.

Excellent breakfast

The room was very narrow so there was very little room for a chair between the end of the bed and very narrow shelf that served as a disk. So it was difficult to do any work on my computer in the room. There was also something peculiar that prevented me from entering my name and room number in order to log in to the internet

room and location was good

breakfast time was very busy and after 1 hours from start the breakfast time most of the plate was empty. we are waiting more that 20 min for free space and more than 20 min for coffee because the clean cup not available. when I asked from staff , she told me this is not his problem and didn’t care about it.

Maike on reception was excellent. She was on her own when we checked in and was very efficient. She was very helpful when I had an issue with lost property as she reported it for me.

At times it was difficult to be served at the bar, staff were over worked trying do everything.
