IntercityHotel Kassel

We especially liked opening our window to see over the train station to the Hercules fountain on the mountain in the distance. The room was small but well appointed. Very clean, great staff. Bed was comfortable . Great location, just roll your suitcases to the side of the railroad station and you are there. You get a free pass for all of the trams and buses which are located in front of the train station.

It was a little more pricy that we would have liked, but it was worth it for the convenience.

proximity to railway / tram station which gives easy access to entire Kassel. The railway station has bakeries and supermarkets where foods and drinks are available at reasonable price.

Lack of air-conditioning - it was not necessary 10 years ago when I stayed here for documeta13 but year 2022 Kassel can be very hot in summer. Good thing is that the room has a large window and it can be opened!

Temperatures is Kassel are highly fluctuating, would have been better if access to A/c or fan is provided in the room. Night time temperature in the room is very hot, when opened the windows for ventilation lot of bees entered the room. ALso, I stayed one night instead of two nights. The hotel refused to give any refund.

I had asked for a quiet room but they gave me one facing the front and near the lift landing. I asked to change my room. They did it immediately giving me a room at the back which was nice a quiet.

It would have been better if they had given me a quiet room from the start since I had asked for that specifically when I was booking.

The room was good, but it had no air conditioning. I had to ask for a table fan due to the extreme heat. The location is excellent, just right beside the train station.

The breakfast is fine, but not many options were there.

Their kindnees and flexibility. We arrived to early and the did the check-in anyway, so we can rest. Relaxed, patience with the people. The best location in Kassel, you can see Hercules monument from your window. Price and quality perfect relation.

Very strategic location as it was next to the Kassel Wilhelmshöhe train station. The staff were very friendly. The price was quite reasonable too. The complimentary mineral water was a nice touch.

I didn't like the location of the seat under the television in the room. If someone sat there, the TV would be blocked.

Everything was fine: the room is spacious enough, the bed is comfortable, there is a complimentary bottle of water. The staff was friendly. Located nicely right next to the train station but at the same time, there wasn't too much noise from the street (maybe I was just lucky with the position of the room).

Breakfast is not included and is definitely overpriced (13 euro!).

The hotel is right next to the train station. The tram station to kassel Mitte is also right in front of the hotel, so it is very convenient to move in Kassel.

The lobby was so dark that I couldn't see the entrance easily.
