Mercure Hotel München Airport Freising

Location was ideal- only about a 10 min walk from the train station (straight shot on paved pedestrian path). Super short walk to center of town too. Very powerful AC and heating system. Skipped breakfast at hotel since many cafés with reasonable prices a short walk away.

Mini frig in room wasn’t working. Safety deposit box was a weird set-up in that guest required to swipe credit card in order to activate which seems like a security issue. Carpet in hallway and room was stained.

Room was spacious. Extra bed for our 4-year-old daughter was free and was set up when we arrived. Our rate did not include breakfast, but Freising town center was just a few minutes away on foot. In the town center, there are plenty of bakery serving delicious breakfast and coffee. So our morning walk to town center for breakfast turned out to be a surprising pleasure.

If you are looking for overnight stay near MUC airport, you need a car to reach this hotel. There are just a few parking spots in the hotel yard. Hotel also has underground parking, which provides plenty of places and security but a little pricy.

It was a 9 minute easy walk to and from the train station, very accessible. Trains and buses come to/from the airport regularly. The shower was lovely. There was a fridge and coffee maker. Location to the town was 10 minutes walking distance!

The hairdryer was so sticky with some residue and was also broken. The beds were 2 twins pushed together and slid apart very easily, which made it very difficult to cuddle your partner. The breakfast (18€ each) and Airport shuttle (€15 per person) was pretty expensive. We took Uber and ate at the airport for less money.

I chose this hotel because it's close to the airport - much closer than Munich. The airport bus leaves from the station, about 10 mins walk away. I loved having a 'bedroom' upstairs so it was completely silent and dark. Coffee-making facs, including coffee sachets were in the room. It was obviously designed for business people as there was a large desk, lamp etc and there are conference facs downstairs. The fridge was quite large. The price represented excellent value. The town itself is easy to reach - just round the corner - so food is readily available.

Rather tired furniture/decor. No complimentary water.

The room was large enough and comfortable. In addition, the breakfast was also containing various alternatives and delicious. I also liked the behaviour of the personnel very much.

Wifi speed was moderate. It could have been better. Especially for business travellers, it is difficult to download, upload large files and make efficient work on the laptop. In addition, the room cleaning cycles were also 4 days due to Corona situation, which I found very nonsense. If you are staying more than 2 days, your room is really getting dirty and nobody comes for cleaning.

Rooms were excellent. location from the Airport, 3 buses an hour and train once an hour. 350 m Walking distance to Freising centre. Munich by train very easy, 2 express trains an hour and 2 Suburban Trains and hour.

Disappointed that the hotel bar "Dampftheo" was closed. The hotel Shuttle bus (Taxi) took a 5 mile route to the Bräustüberl Weihenstephan and charged 27 Euros, for what should have been a 2.5 mile journey.

We can pay via bank transfer; good value for money, good location and conditions.

They forget to send an invoice in a time - to 5 days after payment via bank transfer. Now I'm waithing for the correct invoice, because for me and my colleagues this is a bussines trip and we must to precented it to our accountant. Now we have a problem, because the document it's not corect (the date of departure is incorect and the date of invoice is letar than 5-days after payment)

The location was an easy taxi/Uber ride from Munich airport. The Freising old town was very walkable and was a wonderful place to spend a day before leaving back to US. Breakfast in the restaurant was fabulous! The rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall very happy with our stay

Some carpet was a bit stained, but after COVID understand why updating hasn’t kept up!

staff very friendly. we needed to change rooms and they moved us straight away. location better than expected

staff didn't have great knowledge of public transport e.g. getting into Munich which was disappointing. taxis organised by hotel very very expensive but perhaps that is just how much they cost in Freising!

The hotel was well located. The train station in Freising is only about a 10 minute walk away and there are regular trains to Munich. Great breakfast.

The free Wifi has no password protection. My computer kept wanting to disconnect me for security reasons.
