Leonardo Hotel Frankfurt City South

The room is very comfortable. The building is clean. The bathroom is extraordinary for the price. The staffs were super helpful. Everything was basically good, except for the location. Still, from the airport you only need to take a bus for less than 30 minutes.

The location, if you use public transportation. The nearest bus/tram stop is 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Ask the hotel by email or phone first on how to get there. Never follow suggestion from google maps!

The hotel ticked all the right boxes!! Staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, staff in the breakfast room were amazing, and the lady that serviced our room was just incredible! The facilities were perfect, not to mention the phenomenal breakfast! My family loved everything about the hotel, including the refreshing walks to and from the hotel through the forest.

We didn’t like the place, we loved it!!!! Every query or concern was addresses immediately!!!

I love the natural view around this hotel. Also, with the price that I paid, I think I got more benefits. I love this hotel. Moreover, the receptionist is so charming and helpful. I wish to come back again.

Since I used public transportation, the final way to reach the hotel was a bit creepy. After getting down from the tram, We have to walk through the forest for more less 8 minutes. It was scary at night because no light at all in the forest. I don't know if there is any other alternative except this forest, if there is than my bad, but that's the only fast route that I know (please correct me if I am wrong). For those who have vehicle, this place will be a perfect destination. Even if you don't have vehicle, don't worry, because there is direct tram to the Frankfurt Am Main central station. It is far from the crowded, so peaceful and green surrounded by forests.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and informative and made us feel welcome for our first ever stay in Frankfurt. The facilities were very good. We had a lovely buffet the first evening and the food was of a high standard. The breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold food which was replenished on a regular basis.

It would have been nice to have some information in the room about the surrounding area with a local map to help with finding your way around the location.

Was personal not nice in reception. When we made check in -personal was annoyed,this made us unhappy. We are stoped in this hotel 6 times and this is first time the reception made us sad. We have feel application form in check in,put all details,but Receptionist was so nervous-he did not like something and was nervous. He made us feel bad, especially we were after trip from London with my old parents... First happened to us unwelcome receptionist.

Fantastic location in proximity to the airport. Clean hotel, comfy beds, and the dinner buffet was pretty darn tasty as well.

Be weary of visiting Frankfurt city central area. Very very bad homeless and drug problem in parts of the city. Extremely transparent and scary walking down certain streets. This hotel is far enough distance away from it all and I would definitely recommend it if you need to visit Frankfurt. Great place!!

Overall excellent hotel, although on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Very close to public transportation, which made getting to airport and central Amsterdam very easy. I would recommend to anyone who was OK with not being in central Amsterdam. Great staff and great breakfast. Comfortable and clean room.

Out of Amsterdam in a neighborhood with little character. Broken coffee machine in the breakfast room which resulted in long line each morning to get coffee.

Perfect location for those willing to go for a concert or a game on nearby stadium. Relatively easy to reach the downtown with public transportation. Good and consistent breakfast. Rooms are OK. Large Parking with a decent price.

Climatization of rooms could be more efficient. Coming from a concert late evening it was pretty disappointing that the bar was closed and the only vending machine in the lobby was not equipped with refrigerator.

This is a good 4* hotel, comfortable beds, nice bar, good breakfast and a terrace outside overlooking the forest where you could get a drink in the evening. Staff really friendly and worked very hard to. Close to the stadium (around 10 minutes walk) which was great as we stayed to see Coldplay. Around 15 minutes from the airport in a cab but they do a minivan from the hotel for around €7 each. Around 10 minutes into town in a cab.

couldn’t get food after 10pm, but that’s Northern Europe for you!! We live in Spain so get used to eating at all hours of the night! 😂
