Sofhotel

It is a family run hotel and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were quick to get back to me by email. The hotel is right on the Avenue Verte (London to Paris) and they locked our bikes in a garage safely overnight, and charged my e-bike. They cooked us a lovely vegetarian curry for dinner and filled our water bottles with cold bottled water. There are a few tables outside to have a drink in the sunshine or shade, as well as a dining room and small bar at the reception area. The rooms were hot when we stayed but they provided an extra fan. It was worth paying a little extra for the family room, as we had 2 double beds in essentially 2 separate rooms, so we were very comfortable.

A very nice staying at Sofhotel - Ramesh welcomed us very well. He changed the room booked based on our actual needs and accommodate all our small requests. If you are on one of the various bicycle routes of the area, including the Paris-London, consider this place. very quiet and relaxing It also offers breakfast and restaurant - Highly recommended

Friendly welcome, restaurant onsite with very enjoyable food in the evening, and an excellent breakfast before we left in the morning. The hotel is literally 'across the tracks', but not far by car, and if you want to walk into town there's a subway just outside the hotel that goes under the railway and leads right into the centre of town.

Bedroom was clean but in need of a lick of paint.

we booked after 8pm, welcomed with smiles and a good choice of food after 9pm (served until 10 pm), perfect for a long journey. Quiet location, private parking, clean good size room with very comfortable bed, plenty of breakfast to start our day. Excellent hosts, hope to stay again.

The helpfulness of the owner. The room was well sized and quiet. There was a well stocked bar and a good menu. It was also right on our route, The Avenue Verte. A garage was used to store the bikes.

Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Good value for money.

My room was a bit 'tired' but everything worked. Getting into the hotel from the wrong side of the railway lines was a nuisance.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything that was needed.

Because the weather was very hot it would have been nice to have a fan or air-conditioning.

Wonderful stop on our cycling trip: friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet room, comfortable bed and an excellent three course dinner for a very decent price.

I was cycling the Avenue Verte from London to Paris. Sofhotel provided a clean, comfortable room with adequate facilities for a short stay. Good value dinner and breakfast, safe and secure storage for bicycle in garage.

We arrived late (after 2:30am) but the manager was still able to come and greet us and check us in!!! very friendly family and good breakfast

the fact we couldn’t come earlier and have the Jupiler beer :-)
