Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere

From the moment I walked into the hotel, the unparalleled service and warmth of the staff caught my eye. A surprising, yet delightful feature was the presence of bidet showers, a rare find in Finnish hotels. But what truly set this experience apart was the breakfast and the breathtaking rooftop view of Tampere. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, a culinary delight that transcended my expectations. This hotel stands out in a landscape dotted with uniformity.My stay here didn't just meet my expectations; it surpassed them, leaving me eager to return.

I liked the modern decoration, the beautiful bathrooms, amenities - iron, ironing board, powerful hair dryer. The hotel staff was excellent - welcoming, open and communicative.

I did not like that the instructions were also in Russian. I feel uncomfortable because it is the language of the aggressor country and we all have translater in phone if someone doesn't understand something. Would suggest to replace it with other popular language. There were products from the Rituals brand, which are synthetic, with a distinct smell and an unnatural composition - I would like something more neutral and natural.

Bed was so comfy and the room clean. Breakfast was lovely and good and there were so much different things! You will leave the breakfast with a happy and full stomach. Sky bar was expensive, but the drinks were tasty and the views were beautiful. So it was worth it. We also were very happy to notice, that you can change the room temperature yourself. The location of the hotel was very good, the railway station near, little market next to the hotel and you can just walk everywhere. Elevators of the hotel were fast, so if you are in the lobby and going all the way up, it doesn't take long. If you have a car, remember to ask a good parking spot during the check in. The staff will help you and tell you a place, where you can park your car without paying overprice. Overall we were very happy and our stay in the hotel went good!

The room roof was a bit thin. Room above us had people who were stomping/jumping(?) on the floor very loudly. Luckily they stopped before midnight.

The whole experience was very satisfying. Our room was nice, clean, quiet and comfortable and we loved the scenery from 11th floor. The reception and restaurant staff was helpful and friendly in a relaxed way that made us feel home. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, listened live artist downstairs and spend nice time at the fabulous sky bar. Loved the nice design concept of souvenirs and very good breakfast. Also the location was perfect for us since we game to Tampere by train.

Not much reason to complain, but two things I noticed that I would like to mention. The room temperature felt high. Thermometer showed 20 degrees, but it felt higher. Little less would have been good for us and for the environment. Another thing was that the choice of proteins for vegans at the breakfast could have been broader. But even as it is, it was an excellent breakfast and I would like to thank you especially for delicious tea in really good teapots.

We went there for Ice hockey championship. Right next to Arena, so location perfect! Had everything we needed. And skybar has view over all city. Soft bed and bedsheets +3 different size pillows-very comfy.

Overall all was good, this is picking at details-We were there for a week, so breakfast did get "old" as didn't change at all. Didn't have fried eggs and beans in breakfast. Omelet felt very powdery. . . But again-it had other great alternatives.

-Very stylish and spacious room, loved the view over the city, it's good fun watching the trains comming through the station. -Super comfortable and large bed, I slept like a log! -bathrobe and slippers are provided. -friendly staff. -central location, right next to the station. If the weather is bad, there's a covered walkway leading you to the hotel without getting wet or cold.

Breakfast was varied and good quality. Although only black coffee and milk coffee - no cappuccino/latte etc. Interesting building in a good location. Spacious rooms.

The hotel doesn't clean the rooms by default - you need to make a request. And to do this you need to talk to the reception - sometimes waiting for people checking in/out. Rather expensive.

We had a nice room, average-sized, high up in the Torni tower with great views of the city. The decor was modern and colorful- a bit crazy. The location in the middle of the city across from the train station was great. The restaurant located in a restored 19th century brick steam engine repair building that looked much like a railroad roundhouse was very attractive. We enjoyed having a drink on the roof top bar.

I have nothing to complain about.

The location is great, right next to the train station with plenty of secure parking nearby as well. In breakfast, they have a great buffet with excellent variety and also offer a fantastic 3-course vegan breakfast as well. The Gym is very well equipped with modern equipment and plenty of free weights The 25th floor Sky Bar offers outstanding views of the City of Tampere. We also got the extend our stay until 2 pm with just 10€/person, great value.

It could have been better priced. Slow service at the front desk, no clear idea why.

Was a really great stay. Breakfast and room were exceptional, staff very friendly. Would definitely come back, hopefully with more time on my end to enjoy the facilities.
