Lapland Hotels Tampere

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast selection was a culinary dream, absolutely amazing and diverse selection of everything you could imagine plus delicious local specialties. The breakfast staff was kind and accommodating. I did not get my luggage for 4 days, and reception helped me track down the delivery service from Vantaa to Tampere. Kiitos! Also was nice to get access cards to a local gym within walking distance.

Paid parking garage was a bit tight, but no big deal and quite common in Europe. Considering the hotel is a more towards the edge of town (vs. city center), and lacks a pool, on-site gym, & free parking, I thought the nightly rates were a bit high. However, the superior breakfast somewhat compensates...

All staff very friendly and helpful, very good to help us by speaking English as we don't speak Finnish. Very extensive selection at breakfast. Waterfall shower very good. Location good, very short walk to Tulli tram stop and the main station. Very close to the Moomin Museum!

Neither of us slept well as the room was too warm, we also think that the bed had a memory foam topper which are renowned for being too warm. On the fourth night we had managed to get the temperature down in the room to let us sleep. Room service hadn't made a very good job of dusting the room but had serviced the towels etc. each day so that was good.

This hotel has a great location next to a nice park and very close to the city centre, train station, Moomin museum, Tampere-talo, Nokia Arena etc. Buses and tram very close. The breakfast is worth mentioning, everything is carefully prepared with local ingredients. The staff is very friendly, service at breakfast was excellent and they are also very attentive towards children of all ages. The room was comfortable and very clean. Nice toiletries. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

The glass bathroom door does not offer much privacy.

Have heard lot good things about Lapland hotels and wanted to try out. And it was what I have heard about it. Room was spacious and bed very comfy. Bathroom was also nice size and what was provided fitted well with the theme. Breakfast was rich and offered things never had before. Really loved having coffee brought in jar to the table. Staff was great and overall location very convenient in many ways.

Wonderful decor and standards, breakfast buffet is excellent with many gluten free options. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.

Service was a bit slow in the restaurant in the evening but I came to learn that it’s somewhat common overall in Finland.

The room was clean, spacious enough and beautifully decorated. Our wish about the room location had been taken into account by the staff. Even the hotel was fully booked, we didn't hear any noise from other rooms, corridors or from outside. The location of the hotel is great right next to city center. Breakfast was really good and better than in most hotels: everything was fresh and variety of dishes was wide. Especially the porridge was worth tasting! The staff was very friendly and service-minded. Parking garage in connection with the hotel was convenient. It would have been possible to reserve a sauna slot from the reception, but unfortunately all the slots were already booked. We'd visit again!

Weather during our visit was really hot and the room heated during the day. There was no air-conditioning, so especially during the night the heat was a bit disturbing. The parking payment was relatively high (21 €/night).

The room was clean and stylish, the location and breakfast are good, the customer service is friendly.

The room (comfort queen) didn't have windows that could be opened, and although the air conditioning kept the room at an ok temperature it felt a bit airless. The bathroom door was sliding glass and didn't completely close, and the bathroom door was right by the bed. We asked if it would be possible to have our breakfast brought to our room because we were reluctant to eat in a crowded breakfast buffet during covid (breakfast was included in our room price), and we were told that it would cost an extra 23 euros per person which we thought was a bit steep. Happily there is an outdoor terrace where you can eat.

Very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful staff. Great breakfirst with amazing choices. Good bar with good Gin Tonics. Room is cosy, functional, and shower is great.

I was on the 2nd floor on an inside looking room and it didn't feel too private when curtains were open.

Morning breakfast was better than I was expexting. I really liked special personal touch regarding the serving of coffee and making morning omlets for customers. As I am regular Scandic and Sokos hotel visitor, it was something else and It was refreshing.

Well, it is not a fault of the hotel, cause buildings are built long time ago, so the parking lots are as small as the rest of the hotels in Tampere. If you have premium size car, do not try to drive to the basement parking lot. You will get stuck there.

The smallest details that would give you feeling you are in Lapland. The scented soups which takes you to the woods in the northern part of the country. Combining this with the rest of top notch quality of services, i think this is the place to stay in Finland.
