Hotel Royal Prague

Excellent breakfast, one of the best varieties and tastiest I have had at any hotel anywhere. Room was large and comfortable with a luxury finish. The mini fridge and comfy beds were highlights inside the room. Showers were nice and hot. Air conditioning was very effective and easy to control. Staff were more than happy to let us keep the bags secure in concierge after check out which was a big help. Nearby public transport was nearby with a tram stop around the corner and a train station a few minutes walk away.

The spa area was under construction while we were in there March 2023 so we were unable to avail of the sauna.

Fantastic rooms. Ideal location next to tram and metro, with restaurants and wine bars nearby. Good breakfast.

I asked for car parking and received confirmation that it had been reserved but when I arrived there was no space and no apology. The next morning the hotel did give me a space for the last two days of a four day stay. The car park is very small, and street parking very expensive and I couldn't get the meters to let me pay for a whole day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you plan to travel by car, unless you are prepared to seek out private parking.

nice location, clean and new facilities.

The guy who look like manager in the hotel (mid of 50s i guess) was very unkind and looks so tired all day. He never saw me when he explain about hotel facilities and shown uncomfortable mood. I liked this hotel but don’t wanna visit again because of him. if he want to work there long first he should learn how he communicate well for the guests.

We walked 30minutes to get to the old town which was perfectly fine for us. We also made a reservation for a parking spot in the hotel but in front of the hotel we’re plenty parking spots and luckily they were free on weekends. The room was perfect and the size of the bed was huge. We’re very satisfied with the Hotel especially with the spa area. It was kinda small but definitely worth it. Also we had a 2h Massage for 50€.

Excellent hotel, cleanliness which is my priority requirement - 10 points, superb breakfast, location - 2 min walk to metro or tram stop and then 5 min to go to the city center. 2 supermarkets are nearby, in addition to a number of cafes and restaurants. Very kind staff.

I was given a room with king bed and sofa for 3 adults. But sofa is not for an adult, for kids up to 12 years old max. It was very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep. Therefore I gave 9 points to this hotel, but they deserve 10. Also I would like to draw an attention to 3 negative points I face in the most of the hotels. Dear hotel managers, Please provide more clothes hangers, especially if the room is for three. It would also be nice to provide disposable slippers. All this costs a penny. And last one is - shower drain system. The water drains very slowly from the floor and you stand knee-deep in water while taking a shower.

The hotel is exceeded my expectations. Quite new building in the quiet and safe area, clean room, air conditioning ( which is important as of global warming) , good water pressure in the shower and comfy bed. Exactly what I needed to have a good rest after exciting and busy touristic agenda during the day. Hotel is located near the subway station and Starbucks, 2-3 station to the city center and direct line to Petrin tower. Staff is friendly and respect guests privacy. Buffet Breakfast has variety of traditional Czech and standard European meals. Will definitely stay there next time.

Rooms finished and maintained to an immaculate standard. Very comfortable beds, good air conditioning system, hot shower. Room also came equipped with a small fridge disguised in the wardrobe. Gorgeous buffet breakfast with lots of options to choose from. They have cooked breakfast, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cold meat and cheeses, cakes, bread, juice and a hot drinks machine. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Prague :)

The shower holder was in a awkward low position, and for someone who is taller than a small child, they have to hold the shower head themselves while they shower. Would suggest fitting a shower head holder for use by taller individuals.

Location was perfect, close to center by tram or metro. Many restaurants, bistros, pubs, coffees and bakeries around. The room was spacious, very clean and rather quiet. Amenities refilled daily. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The mattress was way too hard for us, but that's just a matter of preference. We also had a poor experience at the lobby bar during our last night in Prague. We waited more than one hour for 4 drinks and double espresso. The order also got mixed up as one drink arrived wrong. Considering the waiting time, we gave up - didn't want to wait again for the correct drink. Better to enjoy your drinks out!

Overall friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean and cozy. Good location with nearby grocery shops, restaurants, Metro, and tram stations. Public parking just infront/around the hotel (free parking during weekends).

The breakfast room was too crowded and tight and loud. We are a family of five, but they had only very few tables that were always occupied. Adding an additional chair to a table of four was very uncomfortable because of the side support bars of the tables. We couldn't leave the balcony door open, because the balcony is shared with all other rooms on our floor and it is not safe to us. Also, the receptionist upon our arrival wasn't very helpful when we asked him for help concerning parking. 

The Hotel is modern and has lovely decor. it was exceptionally clean and the room was really comfortable and had a large bed, sofa and a fridge. The staff made us feel welcome and we’re all helpful and friendly. The location is good, although in the modern part of the city, it is about a 30 minute walk to the beautiful old town, which gives you the chance to see the other parts of the city. The hotel is surrounded by shops, bars and good places to eat. we really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and thoroughly recommend it.
