Prague Inn

Two aspects of this hotel are superb: 1) Location, right on Wencelas Square in the heart of Prague, where history was made in 1989 when a huge crowd of citizens protested the communist government, leading to its collapse. It was within walking distance, even for this elderly guest, from both the train station in one direction and the major sites, especially Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter and the river front. It is hard to imagine a better location in this price category. 2) The breakfast was really excellent in terms of variety of choices available buffet style, served several floors below ground in the very old (but modernized facilities) in the keller that really highlighted the heritage of this historic city.

The room was rather small and the windows of our room looked out over several AC devices and surrounding buildings; obviously, some rooms have windows facing the square on two sides and may be larger.

Excellent location ! Really in the heart of Prague everything is in a walking distance from the hotel. Very helpful stuff and a 24 hour reception. It is a good value for money. Not the newest facilities or super wow room but very clean. The restaurant is also very beautiful and the breakfast very absolutely ok. Unfortunately the coffee at the breakfast was really bad. I didn’t also quite appreciate the fact that there was a window in the bathroom with no covers on it ! People from the other building cold definitely wach us shower. But ok We placed a towel on the window. All in all we really enjoyed our stay ! Thank you

The room was comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and there is a (pay-as-you-use) mini-fridge in the room with enough variety for most tastes. I would definitely stay there again.

Be aware that the tub has very high sides (not uncommon in Europe) which may make getting in and out tricky for some. If visiting during the hot months, you might wish to have a fan: the a/c only goes down to 18 Celsius. Those are not criticisms—we were very satisfied—just factors to consider.

Excellent location right at the "Václavské" end, close to the astrological clock and next to the old town. The hotel offers a good breakfast and also the possibility to park in the garage:

Note a little sad fact. Driving to the parking garages was difficult if you had mistakenly entered the hotel. A few minutes' walk to the parking garage, but more than ½ hour from the old town by motorbike. You couldn't drive in front of the hotel, luggage couldn't be unloaded in front, you had to carry it from the garage or a block away

Location supberb …all the sights and shops were within walking distance…Room was a good size and had everything we needed

Breakfast only fair ..we discovered by chance on the last day that the cereals were on a different level to the dining area ..no member of staff informed us of this ..food could have been hotter and no porridge left by the time we came down and not replenished either ..no bath mat in the shower either which was quite dangerous and although there was tea and coffee facilities in the room there was no milk

I don't know if the restaurant is part of the hotel or not but it is a terrible place to eat at they will try their best to rip off and make you pay for things you did not order. I would stay at the hotel again but I will never eat at that restaurant SVEJK again

Really good breakfast, great loakation at the Wenceslas square, close to where you wann be. Room with air condition. Fridge in the room. Wardrobe space ok, safe included! Clean room, house keeping did the room early. 2 Pillows per bed were very good.

Location: noisy at night, but that that must be clear to everybody. Some things might need some care, like the Jalousies, and definetivly bigger blinds. Some hook at the wall in the entrance area of the wall to hang up a jacket would be nice. A toilet roll holder in the bath might be a good idea.

Breakfast, location, and staff friendliness was superb. The restaurant in front of the hotel is also fine. It is also great for a business trip, because even if one has just a short time, from here its possible to catch a glimpse of Prague.

The room window opened to a lichthof, which was very noisy, so it was not possible to sleep with open window. The air condition was also too loud so it was better to turn that off as well, and the weather was extremely hot. All these would not have been noticed at wintertime. :-). It would also be great if one would have the possibility to choose a room with a normal window opening, even if it was more expensive.

the location of the hotel could not be faulted, right at the bottom of Wenceslas square and within 100 mtrs of Metro green line from and to the airport. The room was clean of a good size and tea and coffee provided. I had the bed and breakfast option and I honestly do not know how they do it for the price absolutely amazing. The staff although czech spoke perfect english and nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was so cheap we paid the hotel in cash as for instance a beer and a meal was about £10. Do not eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel as you will pay double from others locally

everything was ace...keys had to be recalibrated though on a regular basis that's all
