Hotel Leonardo & Bookquet Prague

HOTEL LEONARDO: The hotel is so well-designed and decorated. It really was a boutique experience. The staff were so professional and pleasant (and efficient ). They went over and above to help us find an item we had accidentally left behind when we checked out. The rooms are spacious, yet cozy. Ours was equipped with a mini kitchenette and seating area, with the beds on a loft area upstairs. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The location is PERFECT. We were around the corner from the Charles Bridge and beautiful views of the river. There are nice cafés and restaurants on the same street as the hotel too. I will definitely book here if I'm ever in Prague again.

I loved everything about my stay here.

Very nice spacious rooms, especially compared to other properties we stayed at. Room had clearly undergone a reno recently, very nicely decorated. I liked that robes and slippers were included. Perfect location to explore Prague on foot ! The staff at the front desk were all very friendly and went above and beyond, especially Hendrix, Dmytro and Melvin.

We had a first floor room in the Bookquet and the street was a bit loud, nothing ear plugs didn’t manage though. The only other thing was the bathroom kind of had an ammonia/cat smell to it. I know it is a pet friendly property, so I’m not sure if that’s what it is from. All in all, very minor issues.

The breakfast was really good. So much variety, salads, cheeses, yogurts, fruit juice, a variety of breads and cakes and hot food. Something for everybody. The hotel is really well located in the old town and you get to pretty much everywhere by walking. The room was simple and clean and had everything you could need for a short stay in Prague.

There was only 1 British speaking channel on the TV which was a news channel. I would have liked a selection of at least one or two more channels for when we were relaxing in the room, but we didn't come to Prague to watch the TV so that was OK!

The room was so spacious with a beautiful big bed, very clean with plenty of storage space. Beautiful roomy shower and plenty of usb sockets around the room. We we’re welcomed with a swan display on the bed made out of towels and fresh flowers and were given a bottle of fizz to celebrate our anniversary. Fabulous view of Charles Bridge and the castle from our window. Very good choice of foods for breakfast loved the scrambled eggs!! The staff were so helpful and friendly, would recommend this hotel very central and very spotless.

There was nothing that we didn’t like, the mini fridge wasn’t working properly in the room but we didn’t use it so it didn’t bother us .

The property was in a fantastic location. Close to old town, Charles bridge and an array of restaurants and bars. We had two large windows that overlooked the street that was very quaint and allowed for fresh air. Breakfast was fantastic with a range of options. Sitting outside in the courtyard was a lovely way to start your morning. Clean, modest size rooms with a modern TV with smart TV offerings. Friendly and helpful staff, notably Adina was very warm and welcoming.

The bathroom has an odd smell to it despite being cleaned. The aircon didn’t work very effectively and the room was subsequently quite warm particularly the second night. We didn’t raise this with staff as it was during the night of our last stay, so subsequently they weren’t provided an opportunity to fix this.

The location was perfect. It was close to the city center and within minutes of walking to Charles Bridge. Many good restaurants around and quite close to the bus stop. The breakfast included was great and the staff was very personable and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and well-designed. It was one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in years.

I stayed in the new wing, Bouquet, and the wifi signal was pretty much non-existent. I had to work while traveling and had to resort to using my own mobile hotspot as the wifi kept disconnecting. It was very frustrating. I told the front desk but it wasn't better. The only disappointing thing in an otherwise excellent hotel.

Location was close to the bridge, and close to several nice areas for bars and restaurants. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We did not like our first room, so they switched us to a nicer room after the first night, which was nice and had nice windows. The breakfast was great and the setting was in a cool area of the building.

Our first room was very claustrophobic, however, they switched us to a different room after the first night. On the booking.com site it looks much nicer than it is. There is an old section and a new section. Most of the photos on the website were of the new section and the rooms are very nice. We were in the old section and the rooms aren't as nice at all, so I felt it was miss-represented. We did enjoy our stay, the room was clean and comfortable, just not like the photos on the website at all.

The location is perfect. You have access to all the historical locations by walking for a few minutes. The reception and breakfast area are very well designed. Most of the staff are very friendly. the room was spacious and has a mini kitchen, which was useful. Also, the bathroom had a bidet, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was yummy with few vegetarian options.

We stayed in a family room, which is part of the hotel that was not yet renovated. The room and furniture was very old with very out of date decoration. Most of the walls were bare which make it feel a little bit cold. There is no comfortable working desk or chairs and the electricity outlets are in the wrong places. For example, in one of the rooms, you cannot charge your phone beside your bed. Also, you cannot connect your laptop to the charger while sitting on the desk. Also, this room does not have all the amenities. For example, you don't get hair conditioner, tooth brushes, bathrobes or slippers. The shower is positioned awkwardly to the side wall so it is hard to move freely. The breakfast does not have many options specially for kids compared to international hotels.

Breakfast was excellent! Beautiful hotel... warm and comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Our room had loft bedroom...stairs were steep with narrow steps and ceiling was very low. Would have been totally unsuitable for a guest with mobility issues, or one who was tall...head bumping danger! Guests should be consulted in advance as to suitability of such accommodation. Had requested twin beds on booking, but had a double. Surely it's possible to confirm in advance whether such a request can be facilitated?

From the moment we were greeted with smiles from all of the staff at the front desk to the moment we left with the bags they'd kindly stowed for us until our departure, we were pleasantly surprised with the level of service during our short stay. The breakfast was over-the-top exceptional, with a selection of hot items, cold salads, and plenty of pastries, plus a choice of indoor or courtyard seating. It's rare to find a two bedroom room in a hotel, and Leonardo delivered. We were not in one of the gorgeous annex rooms like the main photo of this property because those are understandably an upgrade, but our attic family room more than sufficed. Where it lacked windows with any sort of view, it made up for with the huge terrace which really made the space feel much bigger. The location was fantastic -- close to the river, public transport, and a short walk to Old Town. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay again. Really no complaints, except maybe a lighter blanket for the beds?
