Hotel Le Premier

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was well equipped and the towels were large, thick and soft. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. A buffet as well as being able to order off the menu. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the main square as well as the bus and railway stations. The spas were very good and booking was easy. Wi-Fi worked well.

On the 2 occasions we used the bar, after waiting a considerable time, we had to go in search of staff for service. The time that we ordered cocktails the young lady, who was probably mainly in the restaurant, had to resort to some on line instructions for content and method. The relaxation space in the Spa room had discarded slippers, overflowing towel basket, dirty cups and glasses, and empty water and tea containers, despite the fact the Spa had been booked in advance. Minor annoyances were, a couple more accessible sockets would be good and the noise of the trams was audible, although I think this would be hard to eradicate. If you are a 5 star hotel charging 5 star prices, then you need to deliver 5 star service and during our stay this standards were not met.

Beautiful hotel and rooms, great breakfast, prompt, outstanding service, perfect location! I had read that customer service was an issue in Zagreb, definitely not the case at Le Premier. If you stay there, please tip the staff generously as they go above and beyond! :)

The room was mostly clean, only issue was the heated towel rail which wasn't being cleaned and full of dust. Double bed was two twin beds next to each other which was not the most comfortable. Besides these two small items, everything was perfect!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Le Premier and everthing exceeded our expectations. The exceptional service provided by the staff made my stay truly memorable. The attention to detail was evident, from the warm welcome at check-in (very late one) to the prompt and courteous assistance throughout my stay. One of the standout features was the amazing breakfast offered. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, catering to different preferences and dietary needs. The chefs showcased their culinary skills, and the dining experience was a delightful start to each day. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the spacious rooms added to the overall comfort. The housekeeping staff maintained a high standard of hygiene, making my stay feel not only enjoyable but also safe. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a combination of excellent service, everyone went out of their way to make us feel special, delectable breakfast options, and well-maintained, spacious accommodations. It truly made my trip an exceptional experience.

Fantastic place, its definitely upscale just by having so many services available 24 hours. Personally, we used the private sauna and spa are during the late nights, around midnight. Just a few hotels have this kind of service so if you are looking to relax on extravagant levels than having a 24 hour spa is the most extravagant detail you can have literally around the corner of your bedroom. Besides these amenities, I must highlight their manager Goran B. showing and giving all the best information about the city, he made us feel like at home. This guy is everywhere, you can find him around the reception, on the breakfast and even taking care of the parking in front of the hotel. He is just on the spot, very available having a deep understanding of the city, it was a pleasure to get advice from him. Highest recommendations!

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Le Premier. We didn’t arrive in Zagreb until 1am and the staff was so accommodating and made our check in a breeze. It was such a relief after a long travel day to enter our room and see how spacious and comfortable it was. The bed and all the amenities were perfect. Even better was the breakfast. I have never had a better hotel breakfast spread. To top this already impressive stay, you can book a free private sauna room whenever you want. The staff, location, accommodations, breakfast, and spa made for an unforgettable Zagreb stay.

Literally nothing

We were here only for night unfortunately but will be back. The staff were excellent. From doorman to check in to room service and wait staff. We were upgraded on arrival as the hotel was not overly crowded which was a lovely gesture. The room was very comfortable and very roomy with windows that were double glazed but openable. Always a bonus. The location is perfect for taxi/Uber drop offs and pick ups, and to walk in to the middle of town. There is a great cafe and patisserie downstairs next to the central bank building. We checked out too early to sample the breakfast.

If I had to comment on something it’s only that the decor is a little dated but we didn’t mind. It added to the charm. And I believe it doesn’t have a pool.

It was a very comfortable room. I had a cold and was feeling a little run down on my arrival and spent much longer in my room than I expected. It was very much valued for being so comfortable, spacious and airy in the circumstances. I had two good nights sleep which set me up well for my onward travels elsewhere in this beautiful country.

I was hoping for a wider selection of breakfast options - it didn't match the luxury feel of the rest of the place. I felt the food offered at breakfast was a little basic and not clear what extra I could have ordered. More vegetarian options and plant based milk would have been good. The environment was lovely though.

Huge bedrooms and very clean. Staff all welcoming and helpful. Great food. Recommend.

Would be great if there were coffee making facilities in rooms but there is a great cafe two mins around the corner too!

Отличный завтрак

The hotel is very good. Excellent breakfasts. I did not put 10 points because at the entrance I was asked for a deposit of 400 euros. Explaining this by the fact that suddenly we will break or steal something. Upon departure, I asked the receptionist for my deposit 3 times, but they told me that the room had not yet been looked at. When I became nervous and raised my voice, the deposit was returned to me. I very often visited hotels of this level and much better for work and I was never asked for a deposit anywhere. This is very unpleasant and spoiled my whole impression of the hotel.

From arrival to checkout all the staff were very helpful, all greeted us with a smile and helped us along with our very small knowledge of the Croatian language. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and of a good size. The food and drink were of a good quality. The location of the Hotel was excellent and had a very grand feeling to it. A very short walk and you could be in the main square, with all the hustle and bustle of a major City Center.

It's not so much 'didn't like' but 'could be improved' We had a Spring Package deal which wasn't really explained to us what we to expect.. For example, we didn't know if we had drinks with our meals, would we be expected to pay at the end of the stay, could we mix and match off menus as one of our party was a vegetarian. There was definately a communication issue with one or two of the waiters which did not help... But let me say they were ALL eager to please and should be commended.
