Could be far from center/sea, but you can take an uber for 5 eur Gym nice essential but on the sun and super hot! I didnt try the pool but it was inside Be aware of mosquitos outside, they did bite me on my shoes! Price can be expensive during Ultra, but everywhere same

Great hotel, had high expectations from other reviews which were exceeded. Family Room was very spacious and almost perfectly clean. Minibar was quite expensive but that wasn't surprising. Location was perfect for the event I was attending in Split (Ultra Europe), being close to the park and the beach, but further away from the city centre, which wasn't an issue. The reception is open 24/7 which was very useful in my case; apart from one less friendly employee at the reception in the evening, the hotel overall was very accommodating for my wishes (I needed to store my baggage overnight), staff was nice and forthcoming. Even a late check-out on a completely booked Sunday was granted without second questions. There's a restaurant and decent cafe/bar in the lobby area, breakfast is included, unfortunately I didn't make it in the morning and can't comment. The prices are very fair and the value I got for what I paid was pretty much unbeatable. Thank you Hotel Mondo, I am looking forward to visiting again in the future!

The room was nice and comfortable, except maybe for the bed and pillows which I would rate below average in terms of comfort, but that is subjective and it certainly wasn't too bad.

Location is what it is, your view is straight at other industrial building's wall, but it is reflected in the price, so I can't complain much there. Shower head holder on the other head, I'm going to complain about. It was broken and duct taped in place, so it wasn't adjustable anymore - that sucked! The breakfast was average at best, but that could also be because I came fairly late.

The breakfast was amazing. A lot of different options/variety for both drinks, pastries, and food.

The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. I stayed in the suite with the living area and stand alone shower and tub. The suite was very spacious and beautiful! Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff and the check in and out process was fast and simple. The pool was closed for the night but the staff made and exception and opened it for me due to my late arrival. Prior to arriving, I emailed the hotel in regards to spa options and my entire spa day was set up via email which expedited time when I arrived.

The location was good and about 20 -25 mins walk from the Old Town and also near Park Marjan which was lovely. The reception staff were very helpful with information we needed for our trip. Sanda in the restaurant was also very welcoming and gave us some great tips for things to do during our stay. The hotel was also very clean and comfortable.

Once inside, the hotel has everything you'd want.

From the outside, while approaching, it looks like an industrial area. Breakfast was o.k, but not more than that. Hence not in line with the other aspects of my positive experience. Besides, I was surprised by the fire exit lamps not being fitted as they should be. They are flat on the ceiling, so you will see them straight when lying on the floor. See photograph. Given that I can only hope that the other safety aspects are o.k...

Hotel has a big parking with lot of place, so you will easily park there. Location is accessible on foot from the city center. Separate entrance right before an elevator - convenient for moving your luggage. Traffic on the street at night is practically absent, so no noise from it.

There was some constant humming sound, probably from the external AC units.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is nice overall and the breakfast selection is good.

Location wise, it's a bit further out from the centre compared to other places. Also, the AC is an issue. The bedroom AC was absolutely terrible. I asked the reception and they simply said that the repair man said it's all fine. I reckon they control it centrally to keep the temperature down in the room to save energy costs. When you walk into the reception, you feel the AC but in the room during the hottest part of the day, it's terrible. I was actually sweating just sitting in the room. The WiFi was also temperamental which was annoying to work.

Very friendly staff who made me feel very welcome, and really good breakfast. Rooms are modern and clean. Free parking on a private parking area. Supermarket Konzum is nearby. Location is good if you are travelling by car and spend one night in Split. Note that parking in the city centre is expensive, so you really have value for money at Hotel Mondo.

The light in the hallway where my room was located didn't work. Not a very big issue though. The location is outside the city centre, close to the port. This might not be suitable for everyone, but for me it was quite convenient.

Location, however it's not a surprise, you know it's not the best before you book a stay. There is no fried eggs for breakfast (only scrambled or hard-boiled eggs every morning)
