Hotel Dann Carlton Bucaramanga

Location felt safe and checking in and out was no hassle. I arrived early and was assigned my room. Hotel security were helpful and on point. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel itself, althogh not the most modern, did possess a sense of grandeur. All staff were friendly. Parking was close but offsite and there was always security to accompany you. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of local and international dishes. There a 3 restaurants on site on case you wish to dine in. There's a gym, sauna, spa....The Hotel is close to many malls, shops, transport. Overall, this Hotel I would definitely recommend.

I had no complaints for my stay.

Located in a place with all services close by (bank, atm, shopping, nice restaurants, etc). the staff is very nice and helpful. I had two receptions for relatives on the terrace restaurant and the staff were amazing and made sure that all details were taken care of.

The hotel does not accommodate vegan or vegetarian diets, which is quite surprising. I asked for almond milk and they had it some days and others they didn’t. The breakfast buffet is heavy on meats and dairy - it seems that every type of bread has cheese in it—. the cereal bar should be much better and abundant. The granola was stale and mostly made out of cornflakes. also the gym is totally inappropriate for the amount of petiole. there are 3 walking machines but they are old and some days one or two didn’t work. In general, this hotel is great but it’s showing it’s age and it’s cuisine style must be updated for the twenty-first century.

What everyone needs to know about his place is only 2 things: 1. The location is excellent. You will not find a location like this. 2. Roof top views are breathtaking.

Wished they did better with the food. The small variety was just fine at least for me. Im not a huge breakfast person. Food as always fresh and delicious. They don’t tell you that if you go to the buffet, and if you decide to take something to your room, you have to pay for it. I don’t understand the logic. If you’re not feeling well or just want to be alone, if the food leaves the Cafe, is not free anymore. Weird.

Service was great personnel was very nice My husband ordered a ginger tea for his first breakfast and it was freshly cut ginger with cinnamon sticks in this cute glass and everyday they would bring him this ginger tea which was very nice The staff was allways very attentive 🤩

Did not had anything that I did not like

Quiet classic hotel for travelers : large room, a bit old fashioned furniture. But it is a very good option to stay in Bucaramanga for 2 main reasons : first, the heated pool at rooftop is an incredible pleasure to relax. It couldn't be better. Second, there are many good restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast is definitively not the strength of this place : little option and above all, one hour before breakfast closing time there were almost nothing left : at 9:00 am, 4 out of the 6 hot food options were empty and remained empty (no re-fill what so ever) until I left at 9:40 am.

Very helpful and professional from the reception to the bellboy. -Convenient location. -The breakfast had a wide selection of delicious foods. -Reasonable prices. -Good room service. Nice foods as well. -Beautiful city view from the room and the terrace. -The swimming pool, the spa, the sauna... all very pleasant and well maintained. -The bed was comfortable.

The hotel was truly 5 star luxury accomodation. The room was large, very clean and tidy. The breakfast was a good choice of the standard options. A roof top pool and relaxing area with great views of the city. Attentive staff. The shower was the best I have ever experience - I could have stayed under it all day....

There was a nice small balcony but it had disappointing view (this is not something that the hotel can do much about). The location was not the best - I usually stay at the Holiday Inn which is adjacent to the Cacique Mall which is great for shopping and food etc

The bed was large (we reserved a king), the room was large, the mini fridge was stocked, and there was a safe in the room. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and the restaurant menus for the other two restaurants looked really good - however we didn't eat there. The neighborhood is really fun for a visit (we actually live in Bucaramanga, so this was a staycation for us) - lots of shopping, bars, tiendas, and restaurants nearby. The pool area was nice with lots of lounge chairs and also some shaded seating with tables.

The AC worked but didn't get cold, so that was a bummer. Also, the pool isn't as glamorous looking as the photos make it seem, but it is still a pool! the complimentary toilettries were not nice and there wasn't any hair conditioner. There were only three towels available in the room - two bath towels and one hand towel for the sink. No extras. No washcloths. Be sure to bring your passport or identification with you, too! My partner sent a photo of his ID to the email address but there was an issue with reading it correctly so they called us and came up to our room to get it, but we were sleeping so it was pretty annoying. If you haven't been to Colombia before, they want your ID number for literally everything - even buying groceries. Very annoying.

The rooms are amazing, the staff is so polite and helpful , upstairs pool and spa are very nice

The downstairs restaurant at night was horrible. The cook undercooked my girlfriend’s chicken and when she returned , I would have chewed leather easier than that piece. Very underwhelming, also when we first entered we could feel like they didn’t want to be bothered to serve us..

I like everything about this property. It’s very nice. The staff is amazing. The hotel is super nice. Having breakfast every morning poolside at the restaurant on top of the hotel was incredible! The pool and the amenities around the pool… everything from the pool chairs and the pillows and the cushions, dry sauna, wet sauna, Jacuzzi, pool, spa with massage… This place is fabulous!

there was literally nothing about this property that I did not like! I loved everything about it!
