The airport location is very convenient if your flight time is inconvenient, with it located right in front of the airport. I arrived in Sanya at 1 am, quickly went to the hotel for a shower and a sleep before moving to another hotel by the beach on the next day.
The hotel is not very clean. The bathroom was a bit dirty and the room smelled like cigarettes.

Large room with comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities. The room was a lot bigger than we were expecting, and spotlessly clean. Do not let my comments below detract from the fact the hotel itself is great.
The method of payment!! We expected to use our VISA card to pay for the room. But no!! It didn't work. Luckily we had just enough cash with us to cover the cost of a one night stay, but otherwise we would have been in trouble. As we found out later, in China there are TWO types of visa card readers. One is blue, and works for local Chinese credit cards and bank cards. This was all the hotel had!! Yet it is an International hotel with flights arriving from all over the world. Some larger hotels, restaurants, and shops also have a RED card reader, which works perfectly with overseas credit and bank cards. An International Airport Hotel really needs to have a red card reader. We are appalled Booking.Com made NO MENTION of this fact anywhere, or drew our attention to the fact our visa card may not work in some places!! This needs addressing urgently - it almost ruined our trip!
