Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake

The room is spacious and spacious. The hotel itself is located in a good location. You can access many streets by walking in a short distances from the hotel.

The hotel charges a very high deposit when check-in (almost one-third of the total price) The staff informed me that if you pay by card, you have to wait up to 7 days after check-out until you get the deposit back. HOWEVER, they also informed me that I should pay by Alipay as it only takes 2 hours to get the deposit back after check- out. I paid the deposit by Alipay as they said but I still have not got the money back anyways :(

The room was cozy and clean. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was good. You can walk to the west lake. We got welcome drinks at the bar and the waiters were all very kind.

The service in the restaurant (breakfast) was average. The area of the lobby was quite windy and cold. Room was a bit small and no view at all. There isn't any luggage stands / racks inside the room and you need to put your luggage on the floor to unpack.

Great location, great staff. Joey, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful in getting us a free upgrade to the king loft with other amenities. Kids loved the two floors and we enjoyed the huge living room too! Will definitely book again!

The day we checked in, there was some construction right next to the hotel and we could hear the drilling during the day, but the work stopped a day later so everything was fine.

Modern Design Hotel, faciliate all very good with Dyson hair dryer in toilet.

It was difficult to get to the hotel, the location map showed the checkpoint area incorrectly from subway. resulting in us walking an hour to get into the hotel sometime in winter -1'c and seek for 5 peoples how to get to.

Its a relatively new and trendy hotel. Location is perfect, 10mins walk from West lake/shopping area. Service is impeccable, everyone is friendly and helpful. Room is equipped with smart roller blinds, Nespresso, Dyson hair dryer. Enjoyed our stay here.

Room can be a little dim.

It is located in a quiet location of the city. The West Lake and the nearby shopping centres are all within walking distance. Excellent in term of location.

The room is rather small for 2 people, an adult and a teenager. No nice view from the window. I am not sure we could see the West Lake from the hotel.

The great ambience and modern facilities; plus the free beverage in the afternoon after returning home from a day out touring was an extra-nice nice touch!

The temperature cannot be adjusted in the room… it malfunctioned and the room became too hot!

Friendly staff. Helped us when our Alipay had problem with our taxi booking. Her name is Iris Li Pin. She deserves recognition. Also liked the hair dryer, toilet and shower.

Only one chair. Lifts a bit too dimly lit.

Beautiful Design, modern style, and big bedrooms.

Breakfast had few international options. Staff dont speak good English. Very difficult to understand.

Very comfortable room. New building. There’s Dyson hair dryer! 😄godsend. Room big.

Location not super central but short walk from west lake which is good. Away from the crazy crowds.
