Sandman Signature Saskatoon South Hotel

The decor is beautiful and in excellent condition. Our room had a well equipped and kitchenette which was very useful to us. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and the separate shower was very nice. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bathrobes were a nice luxury.

The pool is small for the size of the hotel, and the water in both the pool and hot tub was dirty with a scummy ring around the hot tub. It was the end of a busy (sold out) day, so I know why it was dirty.

Loved the location, it was in a quite area right off the main highway. The Chop Steakhouse was a great feature on site, we loved the restaurant and felt that the overall value exceeded our expecations.

At first there seemed to be a huge wedding party in for the weekend, although this was a bit of a concern for the overall restaurant and amenities experience.. it proved to have no negative effect on our stay. Overall -- there wasnt anything we didnt like about this stay!

First time staying at a sandman hotel. Very impressed! Modern, quiet and very affordable. The location was great for us as it was right on circle drive, close to the yellowhead hwy. There's also a Chop resteraunt on site which was very convienient and great place to dine without having to drive somewhere.

Not really a lot of services nearby as it is in an industrial area. At the same time, easy access to circle drive, so you can easily go to places if need be.

Breakfast was fine and the staff in Denny’s were great. Do wonder why the don’t have a hostess at the entrance from the hotel.ining

Not a fan of no clean up in rooms during your stay, time to get over the COVID thing, think it is a cost cutting measure. However, having said that, they did come as arranged fine, have stayed there before so not complaining

No breakfast was offered. But room was beautiful. And close to restaurants.

The pool was very cold. I couldn’t use it. The hot tub was awesome but the chlorine was burning out eyes. Both my husband and myself had to get out. Maybe they just treated it. Maybe that wasn’t typical. We went for an early evening swim. maybe they could treat it once it closes.

I really liked how clean, comfortable, affordable and conveniently located the hotel is. Front desk reception was very accommodating, for example, we asked for utensils/plate/additional bath robe, and was easily done. Also respected the sustainability of their room service cleaning.

The hot tub/pool facility was a bit questionable on how clean it was. I understand it's for guest use, but the hot tub had a distinct line on where the fill should've been.

Location is perfect for whatever you are doing in the city. Quick to get downtown.

Pricing is a little outrageous. $160+ a night for a basic hotel in Saskatoon. Not downtown. Can’t steam anything to tvs. Need to ask for room cleaning. Need to ask for toiletries. Later check in. $160+ for less than 24 hrs is absurd. Cleaning could be stepped up.

room wasn’t the cleanest, manager gave 50% off of our stay. it’s something I suppose.. but I just did 10 maids jobs and protected their next guest from the same experience.

We had just experienced a house fire and lost everything, the LAST thing I wanted to be doing all night in a hotel, was sweeping up coke from previous guests all over the floor.. to keep our new pup from licking or eating it.

It shouldn’t be necessary to ask for daily service and to get the room fully cleaned and bedding changed. It already has a do not disturb sign of daily house keeping us not wanted.

Facility was excellent. Food services were great. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was concerned about the rate that was applied. The original booking was for $120 per night for one night - April 26, but was changed to $175 per night when a second night April 25 was added. I am less than impressed with this. I will not likely use this booking service again.
