OTL Gouverneur Saguenay

Beautiful modern hotel. Comfortable beds, lovely room. Breakfast buffet very delicious along with freshly made omelettes. Fresh fruit, blueberries and raspberries, high quality yogurt, fresh pasties, meat, cheese, fresh breads and much more were on the buffet. The on-site restaurant Boefish was excellent for dinner. We ate there both nights. Friendly staff at reception, breakfast and the restaurant. It rained so we did not use the outdoor pool and garden area, but it looked fantastic. Book a room with a garden view for a few more dollars, otherwise view is of parking lots. Classy hotel all around. We would stay again and wished our stay was longer.

Nitpicking here: The outside door nearest the parking lot was locked and not accessible by room key, which was inconvenient. Location is fine with a car, but not much is in walking distance.

The great Spa amenities included with our premium room booking, the breakfast, the design and cleanliness of the room. The courteous staff. The good soundproofing in the rooms. The chromecasts available providing additional options for entertainment were a nice touch.

There is nothing here to say. Our stay exceeded our expectations!

To be honest, I had no idea the hotel was on the highway! That said, all went super well. I would not go back because I doubt i would be visiting this part of Quebec again; we were on a road trip ;) Staff were very nice. Breakfast was super. Beds are very comfortable. And hotel is very clean.

Nothing not to like really.

The frontline staff were all very professional and nice. We stayed in a 2 queen beds room, the sheets were soft and comfortable. The beds were semi firm and very comfortable. This 5 star hotel looks relatively new. Breakfast was great as the young staff members handles everything in an efficient and professional manner during a pandemic. Guests are not allowed to pickup and touch the food. Tables and seats were spaced out so there’s not much contact with other guests. Hotel has a small pool and a gym. We didn’t use it. 9/10 rating. Would recommend

The washroom in the 2 queen bed room is a little small. The washroom sliding door could be improved, doesn’t lock properly.

Deluxe King room has a very sexy shower. You need to see it. Breakfast was excellent. Spacious and brightly lite hotel. Beautiful pool area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ample free parking.

Well treated at the reception upon arrival but they emphasized that next time I should book directly with hotel instead of using Booking.com. That left us with a sour taste, felt like we were punished for using Booking.com. Got a room wayyyyy in the back of the hotel. Had to wait in the lobby till 4 PM otherwise we would face a $10.00 charge for early arrival of 45 minutes. Odd way of encouraging you to come back.

The hotel and our room were clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is truly in a stip mall, so our view was a parking lot. Since we traveled with a dog and kids, we were very restricted in what we could do in the hotel, as neither kids nor animals can be left unattended in the room. We ended up using room service a lot. An addition of a dog hotel/daycare would significantly improve the stay of dog owners, but it's possible there isn't enough demand for that feature. Overall the hotel was good, I did not find it to be a luxury hotel.

Loved the design. New, clean and spacious. Room was excellent size with modern bathroom. Everything brand new. Quality of the bedding and the towels was exceptional!!!!! Dinner at Boefish was supernice. Fun decor, good, eclectic atmosphere, and great choices on the menu. Receipt was submitted already to my email before we reached the door on the way out.

Two types of rooms - premium and deluxe. Not much info on booking, but deluxe comes with access to courtyard hot tubs and spa. Very big disappointment when you can see all this beauty from the window, but cannot open the door to get there, only after realizing that it’s for premium members in deluxe rooms on 4th floor. Also, the room decor and amenities are great, but it was small for the family of 4. This hotel is best suited for couples, leave the kids at home.

Everything in and around OTL is simple, functional, updated and clean. We were so impressed with the facilities. We loved the pillows and bed. The bonus was the body pillow. The staff were professional and polite. Their breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here when we go back in Saguenay.

We think the municipal was putting fertilizers around the town so we can smell the foul scent in the hallway. But good thing, the hotel made an effort to set-up scent diffusers in every hallway.

We staid a single night. Very nice hotel, comfortable room, good breakfast, good services (pool, gym, ...). The restaurant was also nice with good food

Excessive price. There is a self service laundry service very useful and free, but it's only 1 washing and 1 dryer machines. I had to use it extremely early in the morning because it was always occupied
