Auberge St. Jacques

We had a great 4-night stay here. It was much better than any other motel we stayed in. Both the room and the bathroom are spacious, pretty recently renovated and clean; it smells fresh inside. The staff is very accommodating- we were provided with a kettle upon request and were able to leave the luggage for a few hours before our flight out. It is conveniently located - just in front there is a bus stop connecting to subway lines to downtown. We even walked to downtown (we are used to do at least 20 km per day on foot). Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and the bed is comfortable. I forgot to collect belongs from the drawer when checking out. The staff found it while cleaning the room then called my cell phone later. I picked it up from the motel office. Friendly staff! This was actually my 2nd bookings with this motel because we were very impressed by the cleaniness in my first trip. Parking is free and 5 mins driving to the center of Montreal. This motel is absolutely a highly recommended budget hotel close to Montreal downtown! We will definitely come back.

I was shocked by the cleanliness and decoration of the room! I'm definitely not used to seeing this in one night motels! The pictures on the website are true! Perfect cleanliness in the room and in the bathroom, everything is new and even the air conditioner did not make a loud noise! The room has a TV, refrigerator and microwave. This motel works great for a long stay! The staff is very friendly, answers all questions and requests, speaks English, French, Russian. We were happy to find such a wonderful place, we will be back again!

Very nice motel close to Vendome metro station in Montréal. The motel is well located. There is a bus stop in front of the motel and you can walk to the metro station in 20 min. There are cafes and restaurants at walking distance. The staff was very nice to us throughout our stay. Free coffee in the morning! Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Internet worked well. The motel has 24-hour reception for late-night arrivals. Good value for money in Montréal.

Free parking, close to the highway, and walking distance to Vendome Metro station where I could buy a pass to then use on the bus that stops directly in front of the motel that goes to an orange and green line metro. The room was cool, and had a nice sized fridge and microwave, as well as a small but nice bathtub with great hot water. Adult channels included! The staff were pleasant. This is now my go-to place anytime I drive to Montreal.

The bathtub was just the right size for me, and I enjoyed it, but I'm pretty small. I think a lot of people would find it a very tight squeeze.

Room size, renewed furniture and very good cleanliness were the highlights of this hotel. I was positively surprised!

Location of course is a downside, even that there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. But if you don’t have a car, it’s a bit annoying having to take the bus and the metro every time you have to go and comeback from downtown. Anyways, it was obviously known when the booking was made.

This motel is well located to almost anywhere you want to go in Montreal and also has a bus stop right at the front door. There are some restaurants nearby. The motel room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was comfortable. A large bathroom. The free WiFi is very good and plenty of free parking. Overall, this hotel is one of the least expensive ones in Montreal. We have family in Montreal and have stayed here several times. I would recommend Auberge St. Jacques to anyone it is good value for the money

Clean, close access to amenities (5 mins driving). It comes with a microwave & a kettle but nothing else. We asked for some paper plates & paper cups to make hot coffee for breakfast. They provide free coffee at the reception (but need to ask).

As the location is at the main road, it can be quite noisy at night. The beds are also squeaking every time we turn, not comfortable for light sleepers like us.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Montreal. We visit family often in Montreal and most times stay off of the island where it is cheaper. But on this occasion we found the the Auberge St. Jacques. The price was excellent and the location just off Highway 20 and close to downtown Montreal (within10 mins.). The rooms were very comfortable and had been upgraded recently. Large bathroom, comfortable bed and a nice chair to sit in. The WiFi was very good and free parking was a bonus. The room also had a microwave and small fridge. There are some restaurants close by and access back on to the Highway 20 within 3 mins. The staff in the office are very friendly. This was a great find for us and we will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this motel.

This hotel is located well just off the #15 highway and close to downtown Montreal. Some restaurants close by. The room was comfortable and clean. Wifi was good and and parking right outside the door. The staff were very nice and efficient at the front desk. We have stayed here several times over the past 2 years when visiting family in Montreal and have enjoyed each stay. We will be back again and I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable hotel at a very good rate.
