Petawawa River Inn & Suites

Was quite a unique experience. Convience store. Laundry mat, ice cream, night club restaurant attached. Very comfortable rooms with great location.

Captain Sub was something I was looking forward to. It was good but didn't meet my expectations. Also, there was someone arrested right outside the hotel in the morning, and the cops placed all the criminal's belongs on the hood of my truck while they were searching him. Not to discredit my experience. Would highly recommend this place

Wonderful staff, clean room, very pet friendly, right next door to the military base, towels were of beautiful quality and sparkling clean, great shower, reasonably priced. Beautiful walking path right across the street from the hotel.

Noisy water flowing somewhere near our room throughout the first night and loud heating system which woke us up.

Clean, comfortable beds, centrally located, welcoming staff eager to assist, easy check in/out. Room well suited: coffee, mini fridge, MW oven, TV, free Wi-Fi, free parking, cafeteria and convenience store on premises.

The fact that it doesn’t have an elevator could be challenging for some folks when going to the 3rd floor.

Location was excellent. We were really close to the military base where our son lives

Sound proofing wasn’t very good. Whomever was upstairs woke up at 5:30 every morning and stomped around getting dressed. He also excercised at 9 every night for 45 minutes. Next time we will ask for the top floor

We attended an event within a local bar directly attached to the hotel. Easy access and incredibly safe travel back to our room at the end of the evening. Even offered 20% off at the restaurant below, very friendly and accommodating.

The AC is rather loud, but not quite as loud as my dad's snoring, I didn't mind. I had originally booked the room intending to have three guests, there were only two sets of towels left within the room.

We were there on our first night of traveling. It would have been great later in our trip as it is attached to a well stocked convenience store and laundromat and restaurant. It was a simple but clean room upstairs from the other amenities mentioned. There’s also a gas station on site. It also had a fridge and microwave.

Small parking lot

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and great location to amenities in the area. The down side was the cheap bar located in the same building. It attracts vulgar clientele who broke out in a fight in the parking lot. This may be a one off, sad as the staff at the desk and convenience store and snack bar were very nice. Additionally there was a clean Laundromat available which was excellent for us and our dog was welcome too

They need to ensure maintenance is kept up wrt broken floor tiles in stairwell. Carpets should also be shampooed

I like that I can bring my dog and no one complains. I like that it's easy going and relaxed and not high strung like other hotels about pet things. I like that the bar is close by and the bathtubs are pretty nice.

Main street location, a walk to the river. The rooms were spacious.

The reception and hallways did not make a good first impression, but the rooms themselves were lovely. They didn’t have the family room I had booked, but gave us a second room instead.

We were quite pleased with the room. They upgraded us to a suite. Very large room, sofa small kitchen . The bed was very comfortable. Overall comfortable clean room.
