Empress Inn and Suites by the Falls

We were so impressed by the staff and as we are new comers to Canada we didn't have credit card to pay the deposit which was the compulsory requirement for the booking.com however the hotel was so flexible and allow us to pay by cash. The room was cleaned and tidy...we highly recommend this place. It has mini fridge and microwave too which is great as we traveled by Go train and used public transport we have taken minimum stuff with us. It's situated walking distance from all the main attraction of Niagara which is great

It's better if they provide electric kettle and tea cups for make bed tea in the morning.

Very clean room, very clean washroom, comes with refrigerator and microwave.The AC unit was a bit noisy but air is cool enough. The mattress was a bit hard noisy on one side and could take additional pillows. The TV works when it choose to and the remote did not work at all even with battery change. Over all our stay at the Empress Inn was ok and for the price it was beyond our expectations. The staff was easy to deal with and very accommodating. We look forward to staying here a third time and we will recommend it to our friends.

We didn't like the noise from the AC unit, the squeeking of the mattress, the non functioning remote control and the cleaning staff shouting to each other across the property too early in the morning.

The size of the room was bigger than expected. It was clean and welcoming. The staff always wore a smile and were super friendly.

The beds are comfortable and the room is fully equipped with fridge and microwave and lots of natural light through the big window. Air conditioning unit worked very well and nice water pressure for shower or bath. The front desk reception was easy to speak too and accommodating. Chose to stay extra night and was offered the same nightly rate we had paid from booking early as now the prices were up by 40% so we saved money by the staff offering us extra night at the reduced rate. Very friendly and excellent wi-fi service.

The parking it was always hard to find a spot in the lot and had to park on side of service entrance then move it once a spot became available

The location was great!

The parking could be a little better, but understood for the small area. Our tv didn’t work in our room and when I called down someone came, but couldn't do anything till morning, now to me that horrible service, it should of been replaced right then and there.

It’s clean so I’m impress. You wouldn’t expect due to location /surroundings

Just where the location is, it’s kind of dirty in a way as soon as you hit the street, I guess due to there’s not much going on in the area. But they maintained the Hotel surroundings to be cleaned so it’s ok

Close to all walking amenities

Someone only came to clean once during our stay..and we couldn't use the TV for part of the visit..went to front desk and asked about it,guy at desk said would have someone up 10 minutes later and didn't show..had to go back again..

The Empress Inn was close to the falls and it only took a few minutes to walk to Clifton Hill where all of the wonderful attractions were. The location was perfect and the staff was very accommodating. We had no problems at all and it was fairly quiet. If the price remains the same or less we will definitely stay there again

We liked everything and have no complaints

Didn’t eat breakfast, we like going to the Clifton hill side and the Fallsview side and this is the perfect location for us being located in the middle

It would be nice to have a pool to use. There used to be a bbq available but didn’t see one this time.

I like the location of this Inn. It's very close to the Niagara Falls, just 3 min drive. No hassle to drive back and forth.

I was expecting the kitchen in a room. Although they do have the Fridge and Microwave. But they should also provide a water supply for their Guest.
