Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel and Conference Centre

My stay included breakfast which was delicious and I loved the fact that I could ask for any plate despite of the price (a la carte breakfast, not buffet).

I understand that there was some renovation/construction going on during my stay, but I notice that at least one of the workers was parked in the parking reserved for the clients, which would have been nice to have access to, but every spot was filled near the room I was assigned. It was not much of an inconvenience (I parked farther and not in front of my room) but I thought that if I am paying for my stay, I should be able to benefit from it, especially that I had to unload my car from lots of luggage. I did not say anything to the staff, but it was simply an observation.

This was most likely the best hotel experience I've had in a long time. I had an issue with one of my bags (forgot it) and they were spectacular at helping me out. Everyone was so great. Also, during my stay, i slept like a baby, so sound proof, and the pool is a huge bonus! Very friendly staff and having my dog with me was no trouble, they even gave a treat! Thanks you all!!

The proximity to the highway. The full-breakfast included with the reservation, the restaurant being attached to the hotel. The multiple guest access depending on the location of your room, making it easier to access the room.

The sofa couch was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattress. The poutine we ordered from the restaurant was extremely salty.

It was very clean, well appointed and pet friendly. We were able to park in front of our room, and there was a restaurant that offered take out in the hotel.

We weren’t provided a blanket for the pull out couch bed. Though I am sure they would have provided one if asked (or maybe we didn’t look close enough?); we had a camping blanket in the car and used this instead.

We stayed in a pet friendly room that was at the back of the hotel. It had an outside and inside door to access the room, which was great for taking our dog out. The restaurant at the hotel was really good and the waitress was so nice. She helped us get some chicken for our picky eating dog. The hotel room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is well situated on the main and easily accessible. The staff was really quick to check us in, we had cart for our luggage and we could navigate easily inside the hotal.

The counter in the bathroom was a little small, but it's the only thing I have to say, which is pretty good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and well-appointed with generous bathroom, couch, microwave and small fridge. Nice to have HDMI port accessible on TV to plug in streaming device. Incredibly comfortable bed. First floor rooms are laid out motel style with parking right in front of room. Room was surprisingly quiet given its location on the highway and next to a busy gas station.

Quite expensive, including a $20 pet fee and no breakfast.

Breakfast wasn't enough. It was a croissant/cupcake + cereal bar. Housekeeping wasn't detail-oriented. We found garbage from other guest between our bed and night stand and dust on furniture. Fridge wasn't on when we got there and found out only on the next morning when we wanted to eat the yogurts we brought with us that they were warm :(

Everything was nice

Upon check-out the front desk person refused to provide us with a printed receipt and pushed very aggressively to sign up for a membership. She even told us not to book with Booking.com or any other third party provider in the future.

Great hotel. Lots of facilities but not able to use them, we got in late and just wanted to sleep. Great that they had an EV charger. I was able to fully charge my car for the next day.
