Quality Inn Halifax Airport

Close to the Airoport, helpful desk team, transfer to and from airport. One of us left a wallet in the car we hired, with passport, money and credit cards in it, when it fell into the footwell, and the desk team were so helpful, we used the shuttle back to the car check in and the staff there had been trying to track us down for an hour and a half! Everyone was so helpful and honest and we got back to the hotel and had a glass or two of wine and a lovely meal in the restaurant, also excellent!

Nothing wiorth mentioning - I couldn't work out how to operate the bath taps!!! But again the desk clerk told me how to solve that!

The location is great The staff was so friendly and helpful Room was well kept and clean The shuttle is extremely fast for pickup and drop off, only few minute wait 2 week free parking - we didnt feel comfortable with the space that was left in one parking area, was close to the highway, the lady at reception promptly change our ticket and gave us a different spot that we felt more comfortable with. The restaurant was a tad expensive but the food was good. Will stay again when we go on our next trip

The incline to the front door, the luggage cart is very difficult to maneuver with a full load of luggage while trying to open the doors

I could leave my car even though I only stayed on my way back. I appreciate they had a shuttle bus service. The location was great. The complimentary breakfast has a good selection.

There was only one receptionist when I arrived and there were quite few people to be checked in. There was a person already stayed at the hotel came down to tell the receptionist there was no power in her room. The receptionist had to check us in and this lady was mad. The receptionist was calm and professional but I felt really bad for the receptionist and there should have been more people working .

The hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle every 30 mins. It's close to a main highway too, but it was really quiet and had a great nights sleep. The restaurant opens 06.00- 01.00, we grabbed a pizza and beer when we arrived and breakfast before we left, both were good.

We were told at the front desk there is a swimming pool, only to get to it to find it's closed all year. The hallway carpets look a little tired and untidy.

We have stayed at the inn several times prior to catching a flight from Halifax to Mexico. Unfortunately, we always fly out at around 6 am so we are only ever in the room for 6 hours or so. That said the hotel is a great spot to catch a few Z's before raveling. The staff is always friendly and everything is usually very clean.

The hotel is an older place. It is clear that they have done a lot of update things. That said, some areas and rooms still look like they're dated. Clean but just needs some updating. Not a big deal and as I said it is clear that they are working at it.

To those reading the poor reviews, just scroll past. You get 2 weeks free parking, and a shuttle to the airport. Those that say they didn't get the shuttle.... just weren't prepared and didn't allow themselves enough time. 2 weeks parking is more than your nights stay, what more could you want. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes, and more often if there is more demand.

There should be nothing bad to say about this place. You get exactly what you booked.

Cost, location and parking during travel are excellent and very convenient. The shuttle runs to the airport are excellent it runs at convenient times and the staff makes sure you are aware of the offering. For one or two nights, the rooms are adequate.

The room itself with layout is fine, however, things like painting in the bathroom looks like a child has done it. The baseboards, shower tiles etc had the wall paint on them. Just seems like it was a shoddy job and no one cares. Doesn't give a good impression. The toilet was loose. It worked, but when you use it, you can tell again, shoddy install, its not secured properly. Taps in the sink, same thing, the faucet moved around when it should be stationary. Basic things I would expect are part of maintenance don't seem to be.

The location was excellent for proximity to the airport. The restaurant had excellent food and was a life saver after having flights cancelled. Shuttle service was a great asset.

One of the rooms I stayed in had an odor like an animal. Also, the fitness room was closed during my stay and since you couldn’t go outside because of the hurricane it was frustrating.

location was perfect, 4 minutes by car from the airport. everything was tidy and neat, the hotel bar was open until 1am so we could still eat even after arriving late from our flight. staff were very kind.

Everything was fine, although we were expecting a separate bedroom when we booked the 1br suite; however, it’s more of an alcove with a second bed, which is fine, but made it hard for us to put our baby to bed before we went to bed ourselves as had been our initial plan.

Very close to the airport, free parking and shuttle service included.

The only complaint was when we got picked up by the shuttle he dropped us off at the front door of the hotel instead of driving us over to our vehicle, we had a lot of luggage and it was raining so I had to run over in the rain to get our vehicle and bring it back to the front door to pick up the rest of my friends. The night we left we saw him Dropping off people at their vehicles with the luggage, I really think this was unacceptable, Therefore we did not give him a tip
