August Jack Motor Inn

Location, smack-dab in the middle of the town! close to everywhere, parks in front and back of the place, really safe location, and of course friendly, kind and lovely staff <3 Sadok is kind, friendly, superb and overall an amazing host! He made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. He made sure our rooms are clean everyday and also gave us a parting gift to my wife and child. As for the motel itself, the place is dated, but... hear me out! they are doing renovations as we speak! they are currently updating the rooms, fixing the motel's exterior so believe me when I say in a couple of months this place would look amazing and lovely! I can't wait to go back here this winter season for my next visit! <3

I stayed here in August 2021, apparently, this motel is under new management/ownership, and it shows! The hallways have been nicely repainted, the check-in/out is via text, this stay was a nice improvement from the past. Clean linens, firm but comfortable bed, and a large standing floor fan for the heat made the room comfortable. The check-in staff was lovely, sweet, and very helpful. The location cannot be beaten in terms of convenience if you want to be in downtown Squamish. Onsite parking is free and there are reserved street spots out front of the motel. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants, and it was quieter at night than we thought it would be. The best value for the dollar in Squamish, and I will definitely stay there again.

Room was very well appointed and the bathroom was good quality. The central location meant it was easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. I was also able to wash all the road grime off my car before I returned it to the car hire place the next day.

The room was quite warm due to the hot day, but in the evening I was able to open the window facing the street and use the fan to circulate the air which meant the room temperature was ok for sleeping, but only needed the sheet.

Very comfortable bed. Loved having a room with access to the park via a sliding patio door. The location was terrific!

Bathroom ceiling tiles have some water damage and mold -- they need to be replaced. The elements in the kitchenette stove are small so it takes a long time to boil a pot of water. The kitchen needs a strainer, a mixing bowl and another knife or two.

The staff was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The location was perfect! We were 3 friends sharing a room. We were given additional towels and bathroom products and an extra hour to check out - all very graciously, with no additional charges.

We loved everything! My friend made one suggestion: Place the beds against the opposite wall to give an awesome view of Chief.

Lovely big room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom Staff were brilliant - in reception and the cleaning staff were exceptionally nice, friendly and hard-working! Room kept lovely and clean and well stocked with coffee and tea etc Also wi-fi connectivity and signal strength were excellent Couldn't ask for more and will be looking to stay here again next year!

No complaints whatsoever

The Motor Inn is central, but also in a quiet area with parks on both side of the street. There is ice available for free. I liked it that I had a fridge, filter coffee machine and a microwave oven.

I liked everything in general, but a $3000,00 fine because of disturbances caused and asked to leave the property might be a risk to stay, because it is easy to get framed.

It was quiet, perfectly located for walking to anywhere downtown and the owner/front desk agent was kind and very informative.

We didn’t dislike anything. If you’re looking for something brand new and fancy, this is not your hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet and being-renovated-within-a-budget hotel, I’d recommend.

Sadiq (front desk) was efficient, kind & very friendly. Always available to help. Great location, good value, clean & there is free parking. Would (will!) stay again.

No complaints! Just be aware there is no A/C. This didn't bother me, I prefer the open windows & there were 2 fans(ceiling & free standing).

They’re going through renovations, we got a newer room. It was great! Clean, modern, comfortable, amazing view of the Chief Mountain. Very nice staff, the gentleman who checked us in, and our room service gal.

Not much to dislike about the property, they’re doing renovations all for the better.
