Poets Cove Resort & Spa

We loved the location of the resort and found some nice trials right around it. Our room had a huge patio with a gorgeous view. The coffee shop was fabulous and made us fabulous coffee each morning. The ping pong basketball hoop games were a nice bonus.

We didn’t have a great experience in the restaurant. Service was slow, food was subpar. The lower pool was WAY too hot they need to be able to control that better. Grounds staff were grumpy. Would be nice if the spa was open.

We dined at their restaurant/pub and were pleased that they had a vegetarian/vegan option - mind you, one or two options does not constitute a menu; it would be preferred if their were more choices. The veggie burgers were good as was the service.

Like most resorts we have stayed in recently we found the room too warm and the temperature difficult to modulate to a temperature that was less than 20 C. Never got to enjoy the ambience of the room's fireplace as the room was too warm, despite opening the door to the patio and the window, as well as running the ceiling fan on high.

Amazing location ! Considering the resort was full this Mothers Day weekend , was very quiet ( noise wise) Slept well! Loved the pillows more than the bed ..want a pillow like that for home. The robes for pool, hot tub such a nice touch!

The restaurant was packed , a short staffed …that’s ok ..just felt bad for them . Surprised closed at 8pm , perhaps open later during summer busy months. Then restaurant needs some spring cleaning!

We loved our stay at the resort. It's tucked away inside the cove and the area is just simply beautiful. Everything from inside the room with a waterfront view to the exterior of the resort is gorgeous. The staff does a fantastic job maintaining this resort. Special thanks to Mike (cycling enthusiast) for making our stay very special. Thank you.

Great location! Spacious rooms. We were working from there and the wifi was excellent! Food in the restaurant was consistently very good. Very friendly staff who had a good knowledge of the area. Would stay again!

Whole place felt like it needed a deeper clean. We found used water bottles under a chair in our room. The restaurant too felt like it needed a better clean between groups. Service in the pub was quite slow, with items being forgotten or taking a long time to arrive (we asked for hot sauce with breakfast, we’d finished by the time they brought it. We asked for tea which never arrived). Recommendation would be to write down orders rather than try and remember everything. The staff were always very friendly and apologetic though!

We came down at approximately 10:30 so we had to wait for more food as the trays were mostly empty. The food did taste very good though.

That we didn't have a separate menu for just breakfast items. My mother-in-law was travelling with us and she can only eat a small amount. I had hoped that the small store next door would be open later than 7-11 am as they also sold liquor.

Great view of the harbor and a great location. Coffee and snacks were available near the 2nd pool which was super heated! Plus they have pickelball/tennis court and other games.

Resort fee! And no spa so why the charge?

Beautiful place and super amazing staff! loved all the facilities; docks, pool, restaurant and the rooms. Especially loved the patio in our room, it’s absolutely breathtaking!

Everything was amazing but the hot tub in the upper pool area could use some changes to the speed/power of the jets, it was a little too much.

Loved the big glassed in balcony. Our dog would lie by it and watch down at the people and puppies go by.

Restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast so used the adjacent moorings cafe, which was ok but not great.

Amazing stay! so peaceful and enjoyable of a stay. Staff went out of their way to make our anniversary trip super special and it was perfect. Pool area is perfect, super warm pool and perfect temperature hottub. Loved having the waterfall sound right outside our room!

Water has quite an odd taste, otherwise perfect stay!
