Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites - Calgary Airport North, an IHG Hotel

The staff were very helpful, on the website it said breakfast was included which it was not. I was not happy about that at all. It was very inconvenient for us. For that reason we will probably use a different hotel along with our family will as well. The kids like the pool and waterslide.

The site said breakfast was included it was not. I still have not received my deposit back. It should be returned right away. The pool hours should be extended with parent supervision I see no problem it being open later. There also needs to be more cream and sugar in the room for the morning coffee. You want your guest to have more then enough of the small amenities not to feel like they are staying at a cheap hotel. It doesn't cost that much, these are items that a guest will appreciate and keep them coming back, small extras make a big difference. I would rather stay somewhere I feel comfortable with a few extras then somewhere I can't even have a coffee in the morning. I'm not sure I will be back

We rather enjoyed the quiet pool during the week. The Double Queen Bed room with Sofa Bed was more then accommodating for our kids and family. The hotel staff helped us with a brochure for a wonderful pizza delivery place. We enjoyed the breakfast. Hot and cold was provided.(Ensure this is part of your booking.) We found the beds very comfortable and clean. Overall the staff were friendly. Thank you so much! Would definetly recommend.

The bathroom at the pool has a large draft which makes it chilly, so ensure you get a complimentary towel to keep you a little warmer. The location worked great for us as we left the next day, though if we were going back into the city it would be about 15 min from things which is still more then reasonable.

We stayed here for one night when we moved back to Calgary. I picked this location because I assumed it would have ample parking to accommodate our uhaul, which it did. The rooms are very clean, comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Our kids loved the water slide! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have a breakfast included, like some of the other Holiday Inn locations. However, the restaurant was open for breakfast and there are other options close to the hotel.

It was clean and nice. There are charging ports on the bedside table. There are 4 pillows on each bed and two are firm and 2 are soft. Love that. : ) The burger and onion rings from the restaurant were really, really good! I would go back to the restaraunt even if I wasn't staying at the hotel for some reason. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Although one morning all the egg choices as well as the potatoes contained green peppers, one of my most hated foods. That was a pancake morning instead.

Looking for a diet soda and found one vending machine out of order and the other out of stock. The selection at the front desk market was also very limited.

The room was nice and it was clean. I feel it was a bit overpriced for what it was but we mostly booked so our little guy could have a pool to play in which was quite adequate.

Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly. Great location. I liked that there was a gas station, restaurants and the mall all within a few minutes drive. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was very nice. The house keeper was also very friendly and accommodating.

I didn’t like that the pool was over capacity durning my stay. Durning this transition time with restrictions being lifted the pool should have a maximum of people allowed. It was so packed I took my kids out of the pool as there was no way to have any social distancing while in the pool. There was also no pool towels.

No breakfast, we prefer eating out. I like the room, very comfortable, modern, extra outlets and extra small tables for laptops etc. We got top floor which is close to washer and dryer.

The sofa bed was quiet thin not really comfortable for my youth. The fridge has no little freezer for the icepacks.

The staff was not cheerful at the front desk . When I requested a room on the 3rd floor , she bluntly told me no room for that floor. Without apologizing or showing any compassion. People in hospitality or at the front desk needs to learn a bit empathetic skills ,it adds to a situation positively when front desk staff are friendly also when they can’t accommodate requests. Over all that’s all my feed back .

The location is just next to the airport and that's exactly what I needed. Free airport shuttle is a big plus. The room size was pretty decent and with beds.

The dinner menu had very limited options. This is not a huge deal but an area for improvement.
